Falcon and The Winter Soldier (potential) Hot Toys 1/6

As someone who bought a CW Falcon off the bay for about $700 about two years ago, I can honestly say I'm still glad I did. It's one of my favorite figures and represents his IW/EG appearance for me. I wasn't collecting Marvel until Infinity War so had to pay a premium to have Sam in my collection. I don't think I'll replace him with a version from this show even though I'm loving it so far. I like the CW look quite a lot... But yeah, GMoney, I would lose my a$$ if I sold him now anyway!

I got my Civil War Falcon a little over a year ago now for $500 sealed. Even then the prices ranged from that to $600, so felt it was a deal lol. Even the Winter Soldier Falcon is up there around $400. So unless they reissue the Civil War version, I don't think the prices will drop for him. I didn't mind spending that much for it when an Iron Man figure when shipped and taxed can be that much. It has a great shelf presence and always stands out among other figs(my justification for spending that much on a toy lol). The current suit design/color scheme for the show is actually why I got my falcon a year ago after seeing the promo pics. I just dont feel its as bad *** personally as the Civil War suit and the color scheme does nothing for me, though I do like the new almost feathery wing design. Now when he eventually gets to be Captain and they show us that suit, it will be a different story for me and will get that.

Based on the on-set photos that leaked out and his usage in the first episode, it looks like he'll be semi-recurring. Hopefully one of the third-parties will give us a good figure.

liked the 1st eps. very much. Very movie like and nice to see them dive deeper into the lives of Bucky and Sam. Hope that Roadie comes back suited up as Warmachine in a later episode. I still don't need this particular Falcon suit, as i have the CW version, wich i like much more. Bought it back then part by part from eBay as it was cheaper then buying the fig new. Only thing i'm missing is the box, but who cares :-D

Can't wait for next friday.

War Bucky that I really do not need another. I also have the first Falcon figure and am happy enough with that one. If wandavision is any indication for figures from marvel TV shows, we will just see the headlining characters, I think

It was indeed a great first sequence and episode, and I get not wanting to drop another $300 for a slightly different Falcon, this look is IMO the best the character has looked for the very reason you mentioned.

First I was dubious; CW Falcon on the shelf is spectacular and doubt there's gonna be a better Bucky than IW (tho there's the coolness of V1 which I paid upmarket for; had to source him late; I had just started collecting - man, when I finally got a NIB in hand u forget the money u just blew)

But I'm weak on my favs; and this whole thing is just getting started. Like, Feige won't comment on a Season 2; said something about crossovers and didn't wanna comment as it'd be a potential spoiler on upcoming movies. WTF.

So, does that mean Falcon and WS are gonna jump into a film, or what. Maybe. Guess I won't worry about it; I'll either luv the series and want (and can afford $$$$) representation; or talk myself out of it with figs running ~300$ now.

I don?t have a Falcon figure yet. So if that?s the case, this would be the one to get. Especially since this may be the last time he will be in Falcon colors.

I'm interested to see this shield in 1/6 form. One thing HT never got right was the line work on Cap's shield. The lines should just be slightly etched not so deeply carved in.



Also, a removable arm on this Bucky figure would be cool.

and there it is... looks decent. The arm will not have a special function though. Overall the likeness is 90% there to me. Liked the former release much more. Let's see who will pre order this one? @Sassafras? ^_^

yesssss, they really should re-release this Bucky version with an updated hs. Instant po :-D

I need some RPs or a coupon to knock the price down. They could've included a shield, just because. And the duffle coat and pistol.

Yeah, kinda boring looking. They could have gone for the outfit in the attached pic with the straps and added a motorcycle to make this fig exciting for example. Pretty bare bones... dunno if i will get this.Falcon will have the shield and this cool suit from the posters by the end of the show. Hope Bucky get's another exciting new outfit as well...who knows.

Agreed. It works for Falcon and adapting his traditional suit features but never been a fan of it.

I hope we eventually get MCU Bucky Cap. I loved his Captain America suit.
