Not really into video games, so I've never seen the Ultimate Alliance version of Galactus, what does he look like?

Yeah, the Ultimate Alliance version is totally awesome. That is my favorite all time version of him. I'd love a PF of him to look that way.

A cloud? What the heck is up with that? I hope that isn't true. I wanna see Galactus like we did in Ultimate Alliance. That was an awesome design.

Last 5 minutes or so, FF and Surfer manage to put Doom down for the time being (read: Doom gets away but weak). Suddenly the sky over NYC goes dark, sun blotted out. Chaos in the streets. FF start geeking out and Surfer looks at them seriously and says :

"My master arrives."

They pan up, you see the darkness and the darkness leads to the credits.

I wish. That would be the best way for Galactus to "be a cloud" and also just "have a presence". But no, just one of my ideas.

I really think it would kill to reveal a full Galactus at the end of the movie because then what would people come back for? If they hate the design they won't bother with seeing movie 3. However if Hollywood was smart and did it some way similar to what I said you would still have suspense for movie 3 AND still have Galactus "in" the movie.

Personally I'd love more cliffhanger movie endings like Empire and Jedi, I think they'd work really well.

I really liked it when Harry Osborn found all his father's weapons at the end of Spider-Man 2 and felt it was a nice way to set up SM3.

I think there has to be some resolution to the main plot of a movie, but it's always good to leave a thread dangling right at the end.

Doom wants to get the Surfers powers for himself. Surfer will probably rise in the sense that he becomes his own person again.

I really doubt Galactus is a "cloud"...give 'em credit...I think they'll be a little smarter than just that.

Though I won't put it beyond to just show Galactus' shadow or hear his voice right at the end of the movie.

It is really exciting though...I mean for crying out loud,if you even told me the Silver Surfer let alone GALACTUS was showing up in a movie about 5 years ago...I wouldn't believe it!

Not better than Jack Kirkby, just more suitable for a movie, the Kirkby style is far more suitable to the comic books.

Sure enough, Galactus (or should I re-title this thread Gah Lak Tus?) is a F'n Cloud.

Huge Warning, Major Spoilers. This is a synopsis of the entire plot and ending from the Novelization:

To sum it up, Gah Lak Tus is a cloud and this appears to be the ending of the Silver Surfer and "Galactus" Fantastic Four story arc. There doesn't appear to be any cliffhanger at the end leading to a third film.

They could change their decision and give us a giant guy at the end, even though it's a bit late for that at this point, but this confirms that they intended it to be a cloud from the beginning.
