The new trailer is better, much better than what we've seen. The Thing needs work. I like Jordan as Johnny Storm. I like all the casting so far except for Doom (although there isn't much to judge here) and Sue and Johnny's Dad feels a bit off I'm not sure why.

Trailer confirmed that it's a generic superhero origin in dark tones with depressing mood.
Dippé Spawn, Singer's X-men, Leterrier's TIH, etc.
FX and designs look very 90s.

Toby Kebbell is the only actor I like from this cast.

I really liked the first teaser and I like this new trailer. I expect the film will be solid. Funny to think if this was from Marvel Studios, then everyone would have been praising and making excuses for it from day one.

Marvel Studios wouldn't have made this version of the FF any more than they would have made the Sony version of Spiderman. Just compare Marvel's Daredevil to Fox's Daredevil. :lol

That may be so, but also wasn't my point.

EDIT: There is over a decade in-between Fox's and Netflix's versions of Daredevil. Hardly seems like an apt comparison.

Your point is kinda... pointless.
Every fandom has its fanbase, and every fanbase consists mostly of fanatics and apologists.
If you're trying to convince others that this movie might be good then insulting Disney/Marvel's fanbase does nothing. :lol

I have zero interest in convincing anyone of anything. This film may very well may be awful, but I'm here stating my opinion that it looks decent. I'm optimistic. I enjoy the Marvel Studios films as much as the next casual fan, but there's no denying the massive amount of narrow-sighted slack that studio gets for basically releasing the same formulaic, family-friendly film two to three times a year. Meanwhile everything DC, Fox, and Sony does (no matter how similar or different) is held over coals for people to flip flop on every time a new trailer is released. Really bugs me.

I'm hoping this turns out good. Been a Fantastic Four fan growing up and while the story and casting (except for Chris Evans & Michael Chiklis) was horrible for the films (also, what's up with changing Doom's origin....), I actually enjoyed those a little bit, but yeah, just too many faulty factors. My fingers are crossed for this one. Otherwise give Disney's Marvel back the rights so they can be in Civil War!!

Preach on brother and you know they will complain and still go see it

I agree 100%...sorry Marvel fanboys diss everything as fast and often as they can
In my book TDK trilogy is hands down better than anything Marvel has given us..and I LOVE Marvel films and they are very entertaining...BUT..y'know
