Just saw this clip and it does not instill confidence. Everything about it is cookie cutter and uninspired, from the generic gear up montage to the cliche and derivative "funny" dialogue. I know this scene is being viewed out of context...but I really hope it's not indicative of the final product...but I fear it is 
Yes, SO generic looking. That clip could have been "American Pie goes to Space" and it would have played just the same. Yes it can still be good, but so far no hint of quality has been leaked in the trailers.

I don't blame the director or Fox anymore. Maybe the source material sucks. I'm beginning to believe that's the real problem, the F4 suck. They have made 3 movies not counting this one, and they all sucked. They made several cartoon shows and they all sucked too. Even their comics sucked and got canceled. I honestly doubt that Marvel/Disney can do a better job, especially with their focus on sense of humor and villains not living up to their full potentials. That sounds like the previous F4 films to me. It's too bad, The Thing is one of my favorite characters.

The best the MCU could do with them, is make them vomit meme jokes, give them their usual Synger-tier costumes which people will call "accurate to the source", half *** some semi-famous comic story arc and the fans will automatically say it's better

Why can't we ever talk about this film directly without referencing the MCU
On it's own merit, this film is not shaping up well. Almost every clip I've seen has looked very bad. Some of the action looks like it could be good. And i'm someone who wants to see this film and doesnt want it to suck. Mostly because I have to pay $15 to see it in theaters

it's only fair since every now and then you get "welcome back to Marvel" I think the CGI is hit and miss in this, and when it's a miss is a big miss, like that tank scene
I've liked all the trailers and most of the clips, I like the sci-fi feel of it, the characters seem to have real chemistry, I'm more inclined to think it could end up being good than bad, but after the embargo talk and stuff I don't know, either they're trying to hide the poopfest, or they're trying to protect themselves from the irrational hate train that this movie is cursed with.

I think all the trailers have been pretty solid. The tone and look I don't have a problem with. The actor chemistry seems on point. I like the cast involved. But the writing...the writing does not seem so good...

The Thing walking around naked is already a major bummer. Seriously, I know he doesn't have genitals in this film apparently, which that alone is disturbing as hell, he has to remind people about it. Why can't he wear some stretchy pants or something out of courtesy?

Watch the clip I posted. All the dialogue reads as though no one cared. All canned jokes and really derivative. Yes it's one clip. But all the other clips seem similar.
I'm just worried DOOMs dialogue is going to be the same. Brass tax, I'm just worried about DOOM
if DOOM ends up even half as cool as Kevin Bacons Sebastian Shaw (wont happen. Kevin Bacon is too cool for school) I'll be a happy camper

This year reminds of 2013, that was a horrible year for comic book movies. I'm hoping F4 ends up being The Wolverine of this year, mediocre but decent enough to keep the franchise moving.
Yea, this year has been horrible, F4 still has a shot but I'm getting nervous myself

Yeah, Genisys always had that "possible worst movie ever made" thing going on in the trailers but nevertheless I couldn't help but notice it always had a certain twinkle in its eye that indicated it might still be fun regardless of how good or bad it was. Right now I'm not seeing any twinkle in FF.
