They should have kept the original third act. It'd be sitting in the 60s on RT right now. The first two acts are good and very much UFF.

I guess since I don't know what happened I can't really say Trank is a victim, this movie probably still could have sucked if his movie made it into theaters but watching that film last night was just weird, most agree the first act is solid, then the movie just turns into something else. The third act was X-Men Origins bad

Is it true that they wear their classic costumes at the end of the film? If so, what do they look like and does the Thing wear pants?

Trank filmed the whole movie besides 3 big action scenes.
Fox cancelled those scenes because of the budget problems and then they used the money they had for the 3d to reshoot the end

I just got back from MI:5. Poked my head in Fantastic Four on the way out. Empty. Seriously not a single person. They didn't even have it in one of the two main theaters. They had MI:5 and that new Meryle Streep movie instead.

It's a Carmike, formerly a ritz. Nicest theater in about 20 miles, maybe more. They have two main theaters that house about 500 people each. I was shocked when I saw "Riki and the Flash" in the other one. I didn't know what it was until I was leaving and saw the poster in the window and realized it was a Meryle Streep getting old but trying to be young and cool sort of movie. I couldn't stop myself from laughing in the parking lot.

He completed the film. His cut was seen by test screenings and deemed too dark by the studio. Then they re-shot the third act without his approval.

The film in theaters is a 7/10. The film the test screenings saw was much better.

The press is completely biased with this film though. It doesn't deserve the hate its getting.
