The article you linked was based on a forum post by a user called "Walt Disney". So again, wrong and far from factual.

The most concrete and notable evidence we have regarding rights reversion comes from the Daredevil rights expiring two years ago - ten years after FOX's Daredevil (2003). That would have given FOX until 2016 to begin production on an FF film in order to retain the rights. Its actually quite common for right reversions to occur at the ten year mark.

So again, the whole "Trank's FF was a rights grab by FOX" shtick is bollocks. Nothing but false anti-Fox propaganda generated by DISNEY fanboys (and probably DISNEY themselves).

wasn't their big news a few years ago that fox gave back several other film rights to extend daredevil... then gave back daredevil to extend fantastic 4?

anyone else remember that?

When FOX allowed DD to expire everyone began to assume they'd do the same with FF. In reality they never planned on letting go of FF. Four years prior to DD's rights reversion (two years after ROTSS) they announced the reboot and in 2012 hired Trank to helm it. Wishful thinking by DISNEY fanboys was the real catalyst for the FF reboot rights grab (and all other variations) fiasco.

yet ANOTHER NON rotten tomatoes review..........

These many people cannot be ALL wrong...........

that's just mathematically impossible lol :lol

Its terrible what they did to Doom, Freaking Dr. Doom! One the coolest villans in marvel and he looks ridiculous! Nevermind the blandtastic 4 themselves and lame stars they got for them (minus Kate Mara cuz i do like her). Its sad when i have to say the previous films were better than this, especially considering those movies were CRAP!!!!

Well, millions of Germans in the 30s and 40s practiced fascism and wanted a world dominated by the Aryan race.

Those many people could not have ALL been wrong.......that'd just be mathematically impossible.

See how that works?

Generate your own opinion. Its the sound thing to do.

comparing movie reviews to that....... wow :lol

you did it man, I'm speechless, i got nothing. you just went full... you know what? im not even going to say it, it should be that obvious

I hope Fox is paying you well for all this defending. I understand you have to protect your boss, i get it. You have to save face for them.

So until I watch the movie, I can't say it's a bad movie based off of critical and commercial success?

So your response to me elaborating how completely devoid of original thought you are is to claim I work for FOX?

Dude, you live in a society that allows you to make up your own mind and grants you freedom of speech but you let internet critics and reviewers tell you how to think and what to watch.

The whole thing is tragic.

I'm sorry... But isn't it their job to tell us what to watch?

you live your life never reading a review? restaurants, food, music, shopping places, Ebay?

so you shop on Ebay and you don't look at the Feedback? You never check YELP?

this guy acts like he is living back in the 70s when you could never tell if something was reliable or not.... what a joke

Exactly.

Logic dictates one's personal opinion should be paramount and the opinion of others should never supersede your own.

If I allowed the internet to think for me, I'd think TDKR is an awful movie, I'd believe being Conservative means I'm insane and I'd consider myself a transphobic monster for not loving Caitlin Jenner.

So... Logically shouldn't I spend my money on something I would enjoy?

Logically wouldn't I check out if a movie i'm interested in watching is actually worth the money or should I watch and invest into something else I'm interested in?

I don't know what's more ridiculous and pathetic, your Obvious attempts at defending Fox, or the stuff that comes out of your head...

please do not tell me you check the feedback on Ebay,

I could not handle this level of ridiculous hypocrisy

So in summary, without an internet to tell you how to think, what to eat, where to live, how to feel, etc - you'd be lost?

News flash, man - you already are.

Call my opinions ridiculous and pathetic all you want. At least I have opinions, my man.

before the internet we had newspapers, magazines,
and before that we just had word of mouth. you make it sound like reviews are a new thing from the age of the internet.
as long as people have been writing there have been reviews on things, specially in the arts...

like i said, please do not tell me you check sellers' feedback on ebay on amazon. You dont do any shopping online do you? of course not

Okay snikt, during this whole debate I was sitting and watching the film on my DragonBox.

You're right, this movie is good because it has potential. All the stuff in the beginning was okay.

But you don't measure potential when talking about a movie.

This film sets up a lot of stuff to be explored but it's all for nothing. Just forgot about and left out of context, so I feel basically the first hour or so was just wasted time being set up.

CGI looks like it was done in today's high school digital media class. Actors are clearly good actors working around a horrible screenplay, again potentially good actors but wasted when it doesn't come to fruition.

Overall, in my opinion it's a 2/10.

Forget money. Let's make it more interesting.

If you wake up tomorrow and the internet is nothing but article after article, forum post after forum post, stating all non-Islamic people on this planet are evil and damned, do you immediately convert to Islam?

While the internet won't really be filled with that tomorrow, its not a hypothetical mentality. Millions of radical Muslims currently consider all of us non-Muslims traitors in the eyes of their God.

Do I care? No.

Jihadist hate resonates through millions, despite how nonsensical it is. It resonates because those millions subscribing to that hate relinquished individual thought and allowed someone else to speak for them. If they each sat down and examined the lifestyle they've chosen, ignoring the massive influence around them, they'd probably cease to be Jihadists.

What we have here is a similar dilemma. A much less dangerous one but still quite dangerous in that the press is now literally making your movie watching decisions for you.

Reviews should at best alarm you of something that interests you not being everything you'd hoped it would be. They should never downright decide for you that its not for you. That's borderline brainwash.

so ok,

there is a seller on ebay selling Hot Toys stuff right?

And the seller has 89% NEGATIVE feedback reviews....

you buy from that seller? you buy right?

People wont even buy from someone with a 15% Negative............ anything below 90% and some people feel worried

but you will buy from the guy with 11% Positive feedback :lol
