JL, I understand that the Gondorian bows were longer. Until the invention of the Compound Bow, the only way to add power and distance was to increase the size of the bow in order to create more force behind the arrow. However, in order to do this, the arrows themselves needed to be bigger than standard arrows. Pics I have seen show them (and I mean historical long bows/arrows, not LOTR) anywhere from 20 to 50 percent longer. The arrows with Faramir look like re-use from Aragorn and probably Legolas as well. This doesn't work for me. Why spend all the time and detail to get the costume perfect, then cheap out on the arrows? How much could it cost to redo the mold to add length? I really wanted to pose Aragorn at times with a bow, but I doubt I ever will now. Unless they fix Faramir's weapon/ammo, I guess they will go in the supply draw as well
