As one of Faramir's most loyal fans, I dedicate this thread to our noble captain. Many weeks I have waited to see him, but with nothing to satisfy my patience. Rumor threads and wondering threads exist, yes, but this is the place to send your cries to Sideshow, that we may see Faramir, Son of Denethor, Captain and Ranger of Gondor. Let's see the love! Sideshow! Reveal your treasure!!! May you have mercy on us and give unto us our favorite wizard's pupil! I now shall keep vigil over this thread while I wait to FINALLY behold the Faramir in Ranger Garb 1/6 scale figure!

As much as I want to see him, if I were Sideshow, I'd hold up until it was already in production and almost ready to ship. With all the nitpicking ad nauseum we've experienced with Aragorn recently, I wouldn't give us a yet another chance to make mountains out of molehills. Flame Away!!!

I would love the window between ordering and shipping to be reduced for all of the figures, but it does give me a chance to save for the items before they arrive, so it does help budgeting my collecting.

Faramir is long overdue, and I am happy that they are getting to him early in the line. It should be a nice little nod to all of us who collected the SSW line without getting him. Faramir could easily rank up as one of my favorite figures, though, since he has such a unique ranger costume, but he still has the chance to have all sorts of accessories like Aragorn!

Honestly this figure is long overdue, when was the tease first shown? I can't wait to get this one PPO'd and if they are delaying so its a quick delivery great but honestly I can't see him shipping any earlier than Q1 2007....

As much as I wanted Gandalf to be the next 12", I am still very pleased with Faramir. Like Seaward says, he's been long overdue. I liked him very much in the movies and I hope Sideshow does him justice!

I don't know why, but I could have sworn that as I started reading this thread, I could almost hear "It's Raining Men" by the Weather Girls playing in the background...

As for the Faramir figure, I can't wait, either. I too was hoping for Gandalf the Grey (in order to continue with the Fellowship) but Faramir is cool enough to allow to butt in line. But I don't see him being released until late 1st Quarter, most probably.

I will most likely be ordering this one. I was ny intent to only get the Fellowship, but at the rate these are beiing released that could take years. I'm sure we wont be getting him until 3rd Qrt. '07.
