I'm thinking the same thing. After a month of knowing its Faramir (even with still no official preview) I'm already itching for the NEXT LOTR FIGURE...

...even though I know its gonna be Gandalf.

Oh hell yea. GTG would be the best (him or a nazgul) LoTR PF and a great way to start the line. I don't consider the Frodo PF the start because it's a piece of crap. I'm hoping for GTG or GTW, but probably GTG.

Lurtz was a great start followed by a solid piece in Frodo. It's not a piece of crap. Not sure if you went to SDCC or not but if you've seen it in person you would probably have a better opinion of it.

I agree! I can see why people are ragging on the piece (the likeness to Elijah is not spot on) but that aside it's a very nice piece. The clothing, enviornment, pose, scult (except the not quite Elijah problem) are pretty darn good. I've seen it in person and was quite impressed with it. Is it as impressive (in likeness) to Lurtz? No. But it's pretty impressive in other respects. I can't wait to get this statue.

Yeah, it's not spot on but solid as far as sculpt goes. The rest is pretty darn good.

For some reason I feel that it'll be GTW in PF and the first SSC GTG will be in 12" formatting. I'd love it if they offered both side by side...it'd be my first PF.

Perhaps I was a little harsh on poor Frodo, I apologize. I did go to SDCC, and while it did look better in person, it is....not my cup of tea. I did forget about Lurtz, he looks amazing, just waiting in GTG.

It's cool. I admit it's the not as good as Lurtz when it comes to likeness but overall it's not bad. It will be a nice addition to a collection.

I agree, the Frodo PF doesnt even really look like Elijah. Maybe since sideshow is portraying a character from the movie, they should make it look like the movie. Lurtz PF is the only one worth owning thus far.
