Lot's of collateral bloody carnage in this episode.People driving by the Bus wreck. Two guys out Hunting.Nikki and Mr Wrench on the run getting run in by arrows.DQ Quall's head. That axe Mr Wrench threw did some damage to Yuri.

OK the Bowling Alley was over the top.I almost thought I was watching American Gods, but come on.Empty Bowling Alley(Big Lebowski)free drinks, God aka:Ray Wise shows up spewing verses tells Nikki give a message to the bad guys. And heres a nice VW with the keys in it.. go on take it.He was also on the plane when Gloria went to LA and again when she was being romanced by Hunt.

I'M happy this is almost over with because these later episodes are getting too weird.

Solid ending, actually. I was not much liking this season three or four episodes in. But, the last three redeemed it well enough. Still not as good as Season 1, but a good wrap-up.

It helps when you can see the bigger picture. They seem to be doing homages to Coen Bros. movies with each season. Season 1 was No Country. 2 was The Man Who Wasn't There, I think (certainly with the aliens) ... though there may be an homage to a different movie I haven't seen.

This one was clearly inspired by A Serious Man ... which is supposed to be a modern reimagining of the Book of Job. Basically, some poor bastard has a bunch of really bad stuff happen to him for no reason at all. Emmitt Stussy fits the bill. Good guy. Running a reasonable business. And, through mostly no fault of his own his brother tries to have him killed, his family leaves him, his best friend gets poisoned, he gets involved with some serious criminals, he kills his brother, he loses his business, he nearly goes down for murder, he goes bankrupt, he gets convicted of tax fraud ... and he gets his head blown off.

The ending reminded me of Lord of War.

In the immortal words of the bard: "Peee-yooosa!!"

That stuuuuunk.

And was there ever any reference whatsoever to the very opening scene in Germany made during the rest of the series? Was magic Leland Palmer with the magic kitty related in some way?

Eh, I don't care. Good riddance Fargo. Just like True Detective and Mr Robot and Wayward Pines, you should have stopped at one season.

The unmentioned starting scene was an homage to A Serious Man. There was a detached scene at the beginning of that movie that was never referenced again.

lame Season Finale for me.But it was a true story.Varga is God.Rikers and Snickers Bars:lol

too bad about Nikki who actually brought it all down.

I would have rather seen Wrench take out Varga than Emmit.

I thought it was a good finale. I definitely miss the humor the first two seasons had, though. This season just seemed darker to me. I still enjoy this show and will watch it if it keeps going.

Just finished it. Definitely ended better than it started. I think by episode 5 or 6 it really started going for me. I don't mind the unexplained bits (Leland and the opening shot)--they just add to the oddness of it all.

I also think it's overall the weakest of the 3 seasons, but I think it was still a good season. When Mr Wrench entered the picture (I didn't realize who he was until they showed he was deaf and then it clicked), I got a huge smile on my face! Very clever way to tie the seasons together!

I think the second season is by far the best one so far. Every episode was fantastic. I remember enjoying the first one, but not being as blown away as I was by season 2. I'll have to go back and re-watch season 1, especially now to see how well integrated the 3 seasons were.

At this point there's no plan for a 4th season because the creator doesn't have an idea for it. I hope he takes his time and comes up with something as opposed to rushing to put anything out. Or I think I'd be happy having just these 3 great seasons.
