Stephen's BBQ. Its a small place down the road from us and there BBQ is great.

A couple of places that feel warrant mentioning are:

Famous Dave's - It is a chain, but the one I went to was in Ontario, California. NOT the best...but very good just the same.

Calypso Bay Smokehouse - In Sea World San Diego. I liked the ribs and chicken here very much. The brisket was good. But not drool-worthy.

Central Texas BBQ - I ate at this place in Castroville, CA. Now HERE is a good BBQ resaurant. I would ALMOST drive the 5 hours that it would take to eat there again. So far, this one is my own favorite BBQ restaurant.

OKLAHOMA JOES IN KANSAS CITY!

I will be getting a pulled pork sandwich from there tonight. They also have the best fries ever.

Just had a BIG ASS BBQ at home yesterday, the menu included the following:

-Burgers
-Bratwursts
-Spicy Italian Sausages
-Skewered Vegetables
-Skewered Shrimp
-Skewered Chicken
-Skewered Beef
...and that was only the stuff cooked on the grill, had a few kinds of vegetable salads, fruit salad, and a Cake to wash it all down with.

A great way to kick off the Summer.

None of said items classify as bbq. Now I had some cooked pork this weekend. Cooked over coals and applewood for 6 hours. That is bbq. Thank you Charlie! (my neighbor) :rock
