Let me know what you think? Personally I find it every bit as good as Se7en.

Just finished it. Freaking loved it. Korea sure knows how to make one hell of a revenge movie. This surpasses Se7en by far. This is up their with Old Boy imo.

i like asian horror flicks. the ring, the grudge, the eye, shutter...most of which hollywood re-made.lolz

Glad you loved it. Had a feeling you would. I have recommended it to a few friends now and they have all said the same thing. I am a huge Se7en fan so for me it is on par but that's a huge compliment. I certainly prefer ISTD over Old Boy but that's not to say I don't love Old Boy as I do.

I think Old Boy is still my favorite just for the fact that ending had much more impact on me. Though ISTD ending was brilliant. I loved the fact that he made
he made the killers family find out about his death the same way he found out about his fiancée death. By seeing the head being rolled in front of them.
also that cab scene was so brutal and intense.

la reine margot, ikiru, zatoichi, hana-bi, seven samurai, ip-man, ghost in the shell, amores perros, lagaan, 13 assassins, the raid, summer wars, goemon, the good the bad and the weird... too many to list.

for those who listed 13 assassins, anyone seen miike's follow up "hara-kiri"? different style of movie, but that scene... hard to watch :horror
