This Jude looks way better than the DiD one. If this had come 5 years ago and I was around then and had the money, I'd use it to make a Sky Captain.

Yeah his heads have been popping up several mass produced figures. I know of the Bond, Kurt Russell and two others that I can't remember right now. I asked xenoviper if Feng was being recasted or he was selling the sculpts to the companies, though I never did find out the result. I was just wondering because I bought a couple here and on Ebay with some pretty hefty prices only to pop up a few months later mass produced, totally killing the value. Main reason I skipped on the Leon. I figured it will pop up in a couple months and can get it on the cheap and just strip and repaint it.

It wouldn't if you got someone like small studios to repaint it for you. Would cost a lot less as well.

Paint job is one thing but the heads are a bit deformed and ofcos lost of details.

From what i know it's his way to combat those recasters. Even if anyone want to settle for 2nd best by perchasing TTL copy, it's still consider as a "legit" head sculpt. From what Feng told me... not ever head he released gonna be mass produced by TTL.
As for Kai's Travis sculpt that one is only sold for limited runs. No mass production for that.
I guess it's really up to each collector's perspective to this.
Sure the head sculpt mass produced may seem to be devalued due to the fact that you see the head sculpt everywhere, but do remember the sculpt that were mass produced wont be exactly the same as the one Feng hand casted from first generation mould and hand painted himself.
Some people out there can settle with a sculpt that has slight deformation and lost of details then have it repainted by Small Studio but some people prefer the whole thing done by Feng.

I guess it's like buying a Honda thats fully built in Japan or you can settle with the one thats built in Thailand factory. Not saying Thailand built Honda is inferior... nor am i comparing to Small Studio to Thailand... if you get my drift.
