Finally putting my Dengar together, HT Soldier Story bod matched to Bid's DENISHER head. Gloves went on after a tiny bit of drilling, jumpsuit and armour fit well, but goddamn..those headwraps...they're tricky..
hopefully sort that out tomorrow..meanwhile..

...RODIAN BODY SHIELD!

tried messing with Dengar's head wrap, ended up looking like a Maharajah....not good

Would fiddling around with multiple pieces help any for his headwrap? just thinking its gonna be hard to find cloth that can mimic real cloth 6 times smaller and therefore wrap realistically, so u may have to cheat and use cut up 'parts' shaped with a slight curve (like if u wanted to make a bandolier that looked like it had real weight) testing with paper templates may work - or introduce you to a tedious hell (in which case sorry!)

edit: nvm i just looked at bidufarewell's and it looks too well done without using that idea lol!

Hi Feroze,

I did a tutorial about the head wrap in my Dengar thread.

Don't know if you find it useful but anything helps because the head wrap is a tricky bugger to get right.

Thats a few of these denishers that look superb now.. may have to invest! is it ht body + the punisher head +hasbro dengar? (roughly)

is any of his leg or arm armour from sideshow storm/sandtroopers?

@ Mort I'll be swapping out the armour down the line, definitely intend to go Sideshow.
The body is HT Soldier Story, the one that comes with the Bid's DENISHER head.

Rav constructed the helm; heavy cotton pieces attached to skull cap, with a moulded insert to get that crazy shape. lots of moulding, gathering and sewing to get it in the ball park. She's not 100% happy with it, but I am!

Hasbro armour will get a repaint so he can take his place in the palace asap, meanwhile I'll be digging through boxes to find Sandy armour.

No worries mate, it's the least I can do, I don't collect or do any custom stuff anymore, but I'll never stop coming by to check out everyones work. The headwrap is a carbon copy of how I did mine, the stitching, the extra piece to get the folds right, even the tweezers!! Great job!!

Wait, how did you make the face scars? Is that a scribe or something just pushed into the sculpt?

Artoo those are tweezers in the pic, used a scalpel to cut the scar.



Cut down and dremmeled out Dengar's chest piece to accommodate Sandy abdomen and cod-piece.
