Looks great mate. I did the exact same thing on my Dengar. I used the Hasbro chestpiece and Sandtrooper abdomen armor and cod piece. I also used SSC Sandtrooper forearm armor.

Chaka-you used SS forearm armour? how did you get it on over the jumpsuit? wait, did you swap out the jumpsuit for a thinner one?
Using a Soldier Story bod, his arms just can't get into those SS gauntlets...

Yeah, I hollowed out the SS armor a bit. I cut off the jumpsuit at the wrists and tucked it into the armor. The gloves I used went over the SS armour gaunts. I hope that explains it. The way you are doing it looks great though, I was just telling you what I did.

Yeah, I hollowed out the SS armor a bit. I cut off the jumpsuit at the wrists and tucked it into the armor. The gloves I used went over the SS armour gaunts. I hope that explains it. The way you are doing it looks great though, I was just telling you what I did.

Along with cutting down the shoulder bells, cut a strip from the hasbro thigh armour to make them more trooper like.
Hopefully have Dengar in the palace tomorrow...he's a belt and backpack away from action.

Thats exactly how I did the forearms. I didnt replace the jumpsuit, I just removed the jumpsuit below the elbow. Looks great!

@ Chaka,Going with a thinner jump-suit means no cutting, plus he's way more poseable, and it gives you the room to swap out the leg armour. What did you do with his boots and leg wraps? did you replace them? I bet you did!

I used SSC Sandtrooper armor on the lower legs. I used the Hasbro shoes and made the legwraps out of leather.
Are you going to use Sandy thigh armor? I thought it made Dengar look a bit thin, so I used the Hasbro armor there.

@Chaka, yeah, trooper legs too skiny, cut a fairly generous portion out of the hasbro thighs to make them skinnier, but not trooper skinny, still haven't got a belt or finished modding his pack, but there's all the time in the world for that, more pressing matters are intruding, the palace has to de-assembled..

I think I'm gonna have to replace my Dengar head too as the one I painted is looking decidedly rubbish!
Feroze: For the back pack I used an old broken digital camera.
I bought it online, there are loads but try to get a flat one with a rechargable battery (the ones that take AA batteries dont really work for a backpack as the battery compartment takes up too much space)
