cheers guys :) most appreciated.

With Jedi Luke good to go, seemed like a perfect excuse to break out the palace dio and reshoot the shots with the DX.
Hauled out the parts of Jabba's audience chamber, sad to see it had taken some major hits, cue hot glue and acrylic touch-ups.
Rees-Yees had taken a major hit too, losing an ear and a tendril.
Poor three eyed freak. After a bacta bath his reparations are well underway, so too are various palace denizens who have dived and chipped. Whist setting up took a few shots..fingers crossed more incoming.

OW!!! cheers mate!! :duff
Not so much version 2, as old busted No1.
Now with paint chips, filler cracks and busted lights.
Hopefully the old girl will look ok with some TLC. :monkey2

Cheers Kash :) its all down to Dorgella, he showed us the way.

Open plan living Jabba style

No walls, roof, side sections or corridor here. It's open plan awaiting surgery.

the downward pointing grill lights on the back wall are holding up the whole operation.

still 75% of the lighting is ok.

I guess dio's need upkeep just like their real life counterparts.
Still this is an oldie but goodie.
The best custom of anything I've seen to date.

FRIIIIIG that is BEE-UTIFUL! Where the HECK to you store that thing!? You got a Tardis!?

Mate this is ALL your fault for sorting me out with Luke!!
The chamber is modular, breaks apart and can be stored under a AO drawing board, other big parts were relegated to the loft, which was a mistake, lots of damage, some of it needs to be done from scratch, others retrofitted.

I forgot how cool that spit was, incredible detail. It looks like they are setting up a movie set. Good stuff mate. :)

That the thing is still in one piece is incredible, its been knocked into the dirt countless times, luckily all it needed was some hot glue.
Cheers Chaka-Ow!

Cheers man, and aint that the truth, hopefully the repairs will make it even better, or worse, who knows at this point?

Magic bullet cups! I knew I wasn't the only one!

What's a magic bullet cup?
That thing on the table came from my gf's late dad's workshop, some kind of salt shaker or something I thought.

Anyway, bought some more styrene, mdf, plasticard and foamboard, repairs are underway, broken light stands for the down lights have been hot-glued. Pics coming in a sec.
