Teams who have nothing lose... can actually be REAL trouble.. especially in the knock out stages. I'm always with the Underdogs. Screw Brazil, Nederlands and all the big guns.

Chile did amazing today and almost won it had that ball not hit the cross bar during the 3rd round.

I'm Brasilian and I would've accepted defeat today had Chili won.

I pvr'd the Brazil / Chile game and just got around to watching it. The recording stopped right before the end of the 2nd half of extra time. :gah :gah :mad

I still have RVP's flying header as goal of the tournament thus far with Cahill's second and Rodriguez's third.

Cahill's is what I would put as No. 1 simply because it is probably THE MOST DIFFICULT way you can score a goal... if you talk to anyone who has played the game in a professional level they can vouch for the fact that this kind of a connection happens once in a lifetime...

Yep but volleys are very common whereas RVP's header was unique to say the least and we may never see that type of header again. Plus Van Basten's volley at Euro '88 will never be topped. :lecture

They will probably try and pass the buck for their performance.

The commentator on my channel actually said that no one liked them and that they 'were masters of the dark arts' or words to that effect. :cuckoo:

Sad to see Chile go, they were fantastic.

Really Jye you're Brazilian?

Yup, born in Belem but came to the US when I was very young.

I'm ok with Brasil or US winning. :lol

Brazil's 'fake' cries for the cameras are really starting to bug me.

I would agree if not for every single team being guilty of the same thing. :lol

Of course they will, it's part of their narrative. "Everyone's against us, nobody likes us, the world ganged up on our poor innocent striker and destroyed his career and our World Cup hopes".

Good riddance to them and their dirty football.

They were the train setters though so they get the blame. :lol

All joking aside they must be under huge pressure but having grew up watching Romario, Leonardo, Rivaldo, Cafu, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo etc, this Brazilian squad just doesn't cut the mustard.

And to think that Dunga was chased out of the job because he did not play the 'Brazilian' way.

I agree.

They have had a good few yeas but I can see this 'victim' mentality rolling on with them and 'Hey, Edison Cavani you better pull up your socks pal' what a shocking tournament he had.
