As a casual soccer fan (and a Croatian-American) I will say that was a bogus call on the flop. I have many friends and family who are rabid (Croatian) soccer fans. They are all really pissed right now. I'm OK though. Because it occurred to me that Brazil scored EVERY goal in this game.

I don't blame them for waiting. It wouldn't be very professional of them to have gotten stoned before the game. But hey, if that's how they do in Brazil, why not?

I think that he will do really well at Barca.

Anyways I could have done without all that J.Lo and Pitbull nonsense at the start of the tournament and the game was okay. Croatia deserved at least a draw in this game and were hard done by I feel. I was a goal out as I had Brazil to win 3 - 0.

Also Hulk better pull his socks up, he never delivers.

The game had some interesting parts, but Fred's theatrics were pretty crap. But hey, all players do that, it really is the ref's job to see it for what it is. As it stands, I don't think this ref will get very far in the world cup, unlike Brazil.
Neymar did well, but he was lucky. His penalty kick was crap.
Brazil played so-so, but they usually have a slow start...

Looking forward to Spain vs Netherlands. I hope the dutch actually play this time around instead of just kicking the spaniards.
