I always go with SAL at HLJ or a amiami. No problems, just the long wait.

there's two types of SAL, registered and unregistered...and yes, registered is trackable

I always use the registered SAL, only 6-14 days wait

I ALLWAYS use ASP ( Air small packet) it typically arrives in 9-10 days from ship date when I do.

Hence my concern when the tracking says it hasn't even left japan yet. went ahead and shot amiami a message to see what they can say.
