HT Rey and BB8. It was my first one and the one that got me collecting more.

Nothing from HT jumped out at me last year, except BTTF Part 2 Marty which will be out this year. BvS was tempting, but the Cavill sculpt could and should have been better, plus not one single ****ing Affleck sculpt in 4 releases was shocking. Watch them release a Bruce/Alfred two pack this year in the run up to JL.

Although I love my BVS Bats, and I do agree that the QMX Kirk and NECA Donatello are really outstanding, my pick for fig of the year has to be Hot Toys Iron Man 2: War Machine MK1 Diecast.
BVS Bats is great, but there are a couple of niggles. I can't find a single niggle with the War Machine. Incredible paint (on both body and head), incredible sculpt (on both body and head), fantastic engineering, incredible articulation. And it comes with a large amount of accessories/battle damage.
Expensive. But figure of the year for me.

I got several figures in 2016. I got 4 star wars(Kylo Ren, Leia, Luke, Rey), the 3zero Heisenberg, several Marvel(Pepper Potts, Civil War Cap, New Avengers Scarlett Witch, Winter Soldier Nick Fury, AOU Maria Hill), and a couple of star ace Harry Potter(Snape, Mad Eye). I'd say overall it's a tie between Civil War Cap and maybe Rey. Rey is just a ton of fun to play with/mess with/pose and Civil War Cap is just a case of one of my favorite characters in one of the best possible figures of him. I think Rey might edge him out because his shield is a bit of a ***** to deal with.

I was lucky to visit Universal and Disney World and both places had Hot Toy on display. I got to see a range of them, probably 40 in all from various years.

Bats was well done, but I really dislike the blocky nature of the suit.....reminds me of minecraft....

I have to agree with this 100% I love mine but again it's not a figure but a vehicle. It should be more of a top 2016 collectible thread than a figure of a year since there is more variety to that.

Of all the figures I've picked up this year... for me, the hands down winner and the figure I stop and look at most is:

HT Iron Man Mark 45

Amazing figure. Has awesome shelf presence, great base and just looks mean.

Didn't pick up any of the BvS figures... maybe I should have. The new HT Arkham Batman that just went up for pre-order looks pretty incredible though. Planning to get that one.

I didn't pick up many figures this year but of what I did get my top 3 would be HT Boba Fett because he had great shelf prescence and while the figure is not perfectly film accurate he still looks badass, Kylo Ren because he also has great prescence although he does get a little list on my black shelves and lastly DC WM Mk I because from everything I've seen he is a neat if a figure, however he won't be showing up until later this month for me so, my top is going to be HT Boba Fett
