Good to hear from you Les,flu is not a nice thing to have so I hope you are fully well soon.

Hey guys, just got off the phone with Les and have some updated stuff for you.

1. His ma's in the hospital right now, having some trouble with finding the right meds to treat her with and things, so Les' been busy with meetings their and at the nursing home she'll be going to once she's out of the hospital and things, so that's why he's been absent.

2. He's chipping away at his workload in between everything, said to let everyone know not to panic, Hicks head folks don't worry, and just keep having the awesome patience you've been having.

3. He wanted me to let everyone know, he misses being around on here, he especially wishes he could join in the Spooktacular/Halloween fun, he's bummed he isn't going to get to enjoy Halloween as much as he'd like this year and share in the fun with the Freaks, but he'll be here with us in spirit.

He's still getting his cold out of his system but he is still getting better little bits at a time, doing well. He received his Dark Knight Hot Toys figure from ABC this week and he's enjoying him immensely like everyone else here that's gotten theirs, wishes he could share in that fun too.

So just continue to keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers and keep up the support for him and patience with the work.

Thanks for that update Sean. I appreciate it, as we all do.

It will be SO good to hear from Les himself hopefully someday soon here on this board.

I'll keep praying for him and his family like I have been doing.

Thanks for the update Sean. Sure hope all of these problem get taken care of soon. Les is too good too deserve such trials.

Thanks for the update Sean, it sucks that things keep staying crazy in his world right now.... I really hope things pick up down the road. Dude deserves a break from all that.

Thanks Sean! It makes me sad he can't be here for Spooktacular, knowing how much he'd enjoy it, but he does need time to relax. Everyone would like to see his customs, but it'd be selfish for us to want him to finish and take away what time he has for respite. Take it easy, Les! We miss ya!

Take Care Les!

And it's not a problem at all to wait longer for my hicks & hudson heads.

I Hope that your mom will get better soon!

Hope your Halloween is happy Master Les, stay well.

Thought I'd give the old Les-thread a bump with my own brief report. I spoke with Les a couple of days ago. I can "ditto" Sean's report, and would only add that Les isn't relaxing or taking time for himself. He's deep in the throes of a major life problem that I've watched a few friends go through - being the caretaker to aging parents, and what can happen at the end. It isn't pretty, to understate things a bit, in fact it's heartrending. He's almost over the flu now, and is stealing short bursts of time at the workbench, looking forward to returning here with finished results for a lot of people.

The biggest block to his return, however, isn't any of the stuff that's developed this year. It's his new, still-under-warranty computer. Dell is sending him a replacement card of some sort; it sounds like he may have had a bad memory card. But until he gets it running, he's offline. He REALLY missed Spooktacular, not just in the emotional sense, y'know?

So, good word is, he's progressing on the paints. Bad word is, the end isn't really in sight. When it comes it may come abruptly, without warning; it may come with the arrival of a memory card and the discovery of the right facility to take care of his mom. We could have him back among us very suddenly. But right now there's no way to say when that might happen. Until then, he misses the gang.

Please send my best wishes onto him and his parents please Gruff ! I'm hoping that things start to brighten for him very soon.

Same here. Send Les our best if you talk to him again soon "Gruff Old Bear".
We all appreciate it. Thanks for the update too.

Here's to hoping Les returns soon.
