I've ordered about 3 different FF7 shirts off Aliexpress for pretty cheap and they've all been great, they've got unique designs as well as some hilariously bad ones too. Take a look

Interestingly enough, in this pic we see the AC Cloud head on the Remake Cloud body. If that gives you a little bit of insight. Otherwise you'll just have to compare this photo or the production photos of AC Cloud compared to someone's photos of remake Cloud.

I love the AC design for Cloud, it's always been one of the coolest character designs I've ever seen, to this day. Vaanrose is right about the earrings. Some subtle differences would be the hair shape and color. His hair is a bit "fluffier" if that makes sense. Still spiky headed chocobo hair, but it's a bit thicker. And the coloring is lighter, which I love.

Comparing them both I think AC Cloud look softer over all, his face shapes, nose ,cheeks, everything seem more "rounded" and soft, and that make him look younger than the Remake version. Or you know, maybe he just ate a little more and got a little healthier even if he now suffer from geostigma, haha.

Here's Cloud with Sephiroth and my custom Tifa. GT has done such a tremendous job so far, hope they'll launch their Tifa soon.

I'm very observant haha, but aside from that, his side-glance is what gave it away. It's the deluxe version extra headsculpt. Remake Cloud has a straight glance. So true, good observation. Gametoys really is king of 1/6 headsculpts and attention to detail. We love it.

Yes!! Im just blown away by GT. Like, how do they even do it!? So many companies have tried and failed, some make very good figures (Dragon Studios Sephiroth is insanely great for instance) but GT captures the characters to a T. Not only that, they also capture their "souls" SO accurately. You look at their figures and see the personality of the characters. Thats incredibly hard. Im a sculptor myself and have made a few fanart pieces (Safer Seph for instance) I know the lever of hardcore it takes to create something based on something already existing when its suppose to look alike/the same, but then add to that also capturing the personality and soul! GT are friggin gods. No but really, what they do.... its mad skills of the charts!!

GT seem like they have people on their team that truly care about the characters, I think that could be the difference maker. Look at their Zack for example - it doesn't in any way NEED to come with 3 separate versions of Aerith's letter. AC Cloud doesn't NEED to come with a P900iV with a functional flip. That's the kind of minutiae that dedicated fans, or at least people truly committed to delivering for dedicated fans, would look out for.

gt insisted to do the wholeset figure，headsculpt ，body，weapon，background items，small little items that may not look important but have great meaning for the character， and for those who had played the game before.
GT always try to make the final product matched with the preorder image.or be more good than it. not an easy task for mass production product. they did not claim their product are the best figure in the market.
yes，some collector also said/complaint that gt dint have license for their figure but in the end still buying the gt figure.

because we collector ultimately choose the best product for our money.we will compare gt with others figure in the market. why choose ‘ok’ level product while you have the choice of‘great’.some said gt ac cloud price are becoming more expensive after the release of sep and cloud remake.i just tell them to buy the pak version or vts version.

I saw the p1s 1/6 ff6 statue news yesterday， 1450000miliion yen. of coz with license from SE，which i think is super overpriced. how many fans are able to buy it？

Y'know, as soon as I heard the price for that thing, I immediately thought of GT, specifically their figure & vehicle sets. It's not exactly a very fair comparison given the difference in materials, but in the eyes of an FF fan, you could pay quite literally less than 1/10th of the price of that to get the 7R Cloud + Hardy set and have an equally stunning representation of the series. It's quite striking when looking at it like that.

I've been trying to use museum gel but it's been hit and miss.

I used it for Cloud while posed with his buster sword in battle stance but the sword is so heavy that the gel eventually slowly comes undone

I am very happy that Game Toys cares about the characters and thinks about accessories that would be important for the characters. Can't wait to see more.

Thank you for the tips on the sword handle earlier.

I'm using UHU Patafix (yellow). It doesn't hold weight very well though, I've had a few figure topple if they're leaning too much, over time they lose their hold if there is weight applied. But if things are flat or balanced, they hold pretty well. I think its meant for holding light stuff like pictures or posters to walls, what I like about them is they leave zero residue and is super easy to remove/clean.

Although there's a heavy duty black version (they advertise to hold 3kg) but I haven't tried those. I might have to get some to try.

Nothing lasts forever. But it depends on climate/humidity if how you’re handling the figure. Avoid direct sunlight.

How badly do you want a 1/6 Sephiroth figure? Because it doesn’t get better than this.
