I went crazy and purchased:

• 3 deluxe cloud x hardy Daytona bundles

• 3 cloud figures
Reasons:
~1 bundle to open and display (museum pose)
~2 bundles to resell
~1 cloud to keep for dynamic poses for photos / play with not worrying about the seamless arms
~2 clouds to resale

There was a time when 1:6 brands/manufacturers had an easy and reasonable replacement part policies. However, such policies got abused by dishonest collectors and many discontinued such policies.

Most 1:6 brands/manufacturers end up telling customers to take the issue up with the vendor they purchased the defective item from to discourage abuse/fraud.

If you absolutely, positively, and undeniably want the issue resolved because it bothers you that much and apparently it does, then follow through with what GT specified. If not, then accept to keep the defective item "as is" or sell it to someone who don't mind buying it/paying whatever you want for it with the defect/flaw "as is".

Yeah I figured that was the case I wouldn’t mind doing it if it wouldn’t cost me an arm and a leg to send the arms to them and hope that something that small doesn’t get lost in the mail plus aaaaall the time it would take to get them back. Just debating to see if maybe someone here would wanna take the bike and cloud combo for retail if anything with the tiny flaw on the one arm it’s perfect otherwise. Got it impulsively too always been a Zack guy over Cloud and I didn’t pre order cloud at first cause the face was off and bam like a month before release they show the new one and only one place had it it was for retail just the shipping was killer so maybe I’ll sell him since I do have AC cloud for pre order and it feels redundant to have both especially with the two huge bikes

You pull off the pommel of the bottom of the handle.

then you should be able to slip the handle/sword right through Cloud's fists.

Interestingly enough, in this pic we see the AC Cloud head on the Remake Cloud body. If that gives you a little bit of insight. Otherwise you'll just have to compare this photo or the production photos of AC Cloud compared to someone's photos of remake Cloud.

One of the big differences is AC Cloud has a different, larger earring. But I still decided to order the AC set because it comes with two headsculpts and I might use the extra one on the VTS Remake Cloud even with the incorrect earring.

I love the AC design for Cloud, it's always been one of the coolest character designs I've ever seen, to this day. Vaanrose is right about the earrings. Some subtle differences would be the hair shape and color. His hair is a bit "fluffier" if that makes sense. Still spiky headed chocobo hair, but it's a bit thicker. And the coloring is lighter, which I love.
