Don't believe Square Enix's promo photos, they are exactly that. promos. The real things is always inferior, sadly. I still check out the odd character, and will for the classic FFVII line since it's unique, but I am expecting loose joints and bad paint app.

I would say this has mostly applied to the PAK line as of recent. Simple figures like those based off the Nomura art or the adorable arts are probably gonna come out like the promos since those aren’t as intricate or have to look as “realistic” as the remake stuff. Those are more stylized and easier to pull off

I bought the Jessie PAK as well as Rufus, cause I liked/loved the characters, Rufus was meh.. Jessie looks kinda fine.
Now seeing the 2nd class Zack of Pak.. well.. I like the headsculp. But it is nothing compared to GT. Thats for sure. Guess SE is milking his own product to the eternity .. Sad sad world

w/c Jessie did you get? Is it the standard one? i've seen the one that comes with a bike and cloud has a better faceplate. As in the eyebrows are thinner and the likes.

The price truly is a joke. I’ve still got my old school play arts Cloud and Fenrir that I paid £100 when it was released. Sure it’s old and paint app isn’t great but for the figure and the bike it was totally worth it.

I got a complete Advent Pieces box set, shipper box and all, for £200 last year. Honestly feel like that was an overall better investment than any of the PAKs I bought, which were around £120-150 a pop after shipping.

I use to own a lot of the MGS play art kai figures back when they were only $50 a figure. I thought they were decent for that price, but once they jumped to $100+ a figure, I sold them all off. I dont really miss the MGS figures too much. I did always want the halo reach figures, never bought those.

Limtoys aehab and Ishmael are the closest and best things you can get if you want an MGS3 Snake figure. Granted it’s not MGS3...but the big boss sculpt is fantastic that you can use it to Kitbash your own camo Snake.

But if you’re looking for the advanced sneaking suit...well, I don’t know what to tell ya haha.

That’s a good idea! TBH I’m not too hot about that snaking suit, camo snake is the way to go.

But I guess I’m just really hoping someone can make the naked snake headsculp younger, and closer to how he looks in the PS2 MGS3

I customized my own using the Hot Toys figure as a base.

Also getting back on topic, I finally sold off all my PAK FF7 figures. Going all in on GT now!
