QC for this release so far is actually jokes. I just received mine and there was a unsealed bag of silica gel that has just spilled all over the place. whole figure and accessories is caked in the stuff. I haven't even got around to checking if there's any known defects yet, just in shock at the absurdity.

It's clearly unacceptable, especially from a premium brand like Gametoys!
This Cloud AC has been delayed, and it costs over $200 more than the Cloud + hardy daytona and we have all this defects??

For the first time I really regret being in the first batch...
It's clrearly too much, defects are everywhere we'll be obliged to inspect all elements of the figurine upon receipt!

If we encounter this type of problems, their after-sales service must be as infallible as it is fast.

At this point do we really think Gametoys would change the way it ship for second batch? I really doubt they would go back to black foam insert for packaging at this point, feel like they already have all the packages design all ready to go not willing to change and eat up the cost. I could be wrong and I hope I'm wrong. But whenever a company said they doing it as batch to provide better quality but it seem most of the time just a better way to cover up the production is slow instead so much of "better quality"

now gt added some plastic sheet to prevent paint scratches.

Only expierienced loose magnets. They fell right out of the sword when you take it apart
Other then that I am relatively lucky in the first batch I guess.

you can call for after service for the magnet. if you can wait.or use the glue included inside. but careful because if the glue touch the paint,it will dissolve the paint.

However, I too agree that the Qc for this ac cloud is bad. packaging box is soft.But not as bad as broken parts, missing parts. Mainly paint defects. I would suggest you guys try to record a video when open box,Incase any missing/broken parts in the package.

Have to agree with the video. I think I've got lucky with mine. Only 1 tiny paint scuff but it almost looks like it's supposed to be there. Cannot get over this gel though. took me an hour to clean everything.

Most of those defects seem like qc problems, better packaging won't help with things like paint defects. They need to sort that out at the factory. On the swords it looks like they didn't let the paint dry properly before putting it in the box.

Anyone got a pic of how the AC "windswept" head looks on Gametoys' older FF7R Cloud? Saw a headless body of him on eBay and I'm wondering if I could put this spare head to good use. ;P

Touchdown in UK today and already spotted these issues on the arms. Haven’t looked at the other stuff yet.

Straight away I noticed the box feels very flimsy compared to previous release.

My Sephiroth figure didn't have the cutout for the wing so I had to cut into his jacket with scissors, so I'm a little familiar with QC being off on these. But this has me really nervous.

I didn't want to say anything at the time because the figure is still pretty good overall, but I found their Zack figure felt noticeably cheaper than their Cloud did. All this new QC stuff on AC Cloud tells me that level of quality of those first two releases wasn't sustainable long term and they've had to cut the cost somehow.

That’s how I felt when I first got Zack. The abdomen articulation is much more limited than Cloud’s, and the leg joints were a bit loose on the second body. Remake Cloud in comparison feels a lot more higher grade.
