Darn. These latest photos of Tifa don’t inspire much confidence. Was hoping for a Remake Cloud/AC cloud situation where there are significant improvements the closer the figures get to release.

Honestly if GT can postpone/delay her again, I wouldn’t mind it.

They're just the ones from before photoshopped onto backgrounds. I was fooled too.

I got my Gundamit order in and I consider myself very lucky. I receive more damaged goods than anyone I know so I'm shocked it's ok.

Waiting for people to start saying "Hmm.. Something looks off on Sephiroth. Really low for what you'd expect from GT. Duurrrr."🤦🏾‍♂️😭
Why would anyone say that? Clearly nobody here is going to have an issue with it.

Tifa concerns on the other hand are more warranted. I'm curious how the final product will look.

The last pics looked so bad. They reassured people it was bad angle and lighting, but said they had no plans of showing new pics which leads me to believe the pic wasn't really bad, it's just how the final product will look 😬
The angle WAS totally different, though. Also, they didn't have any product in the hair in the updated pictures. Lighting and angle can make good sculpts look terrible. I've taken pictures of figures I'm literally holding in my hand that look totally different when I look on my camera.

There is a chance it could be a downgrade, but I don't think the two pictures they showed are necessarily a sign it's gonna be bad...I hope, lol.

Who knows why they aren't taking any pictures, they really should. If they bomb this release, that'll probably be the end of the company. I certainly wouldn't back another one if they pulled the rug out from collectors that invested in their first project. Hopefully, this rolls out in batches and we can get a glimpse into what we will get.

Just a brief update for those who might face a similar issue: I washed the forearm with soapy water and then applied talcum powder. Thus far, it has been effective, and there's no residue left on the forearm. I'll continue monitoring for a few days to confirm that the problem has been completely resolved.
any remedy on this? this is my GT Cloud Strife Remake. And I’ve recently noticed the dye stains from the cloth

I collect both figures and dolls and have dealt with staining very well. The products I use are Twin Pines, Remove Zit & Formula 9-1-1.

You need to get both. You put the remove Zit on with a toothpick (it's a crystally material which turns to paste when you agitate it) and leave it on for 24-48 hours, depending on the severity of the stain. Then you put some Formula 9-1-1 on a cotton pad or ball and remove the Remove Zit. Nothing else will remove it, so you NEED both products (learned this the hard way) but it is guaranteed to work. Rinse the Formula 9-1-1 off with dish soap + water. Don't use near painted areas, it will strip the paint. It might possibly remove matte finishing from dolls/figures. Top up the matte coating with Mr Super Clear UV Cut to complete the process.

There are certainly other methods, lots of people claim success in using "acne medication" but I'm just sharing something that has worked every time for me.

Ok so…I havent played Remake yet, nor Rebirth.

I also haven’t played KH3, despite loving KH2…

What does KH3 have anything to do with FFVII?

Well, like @chrisstbh alluded to with regards to Nomura cooking:

FFVII pt 3 better not end with a cliffhanger, sequel bait stinger or open ended ending.

That’s what made me despise KH3’s ending. Yeah I didn’t play it, but I did watch the ending on YT…

We waited 2 console generations with spin offs spread across MULTIPLE platforms, consoles and cellphones…and you’re telling me the game ends on a forced bittersweet/downer? Not only that, you ended on yet another teaser trailer letting us know there’s gonna be more? Like…how many console generations are we gonna wait this time?

FFVII needs to end properly. If there’s sequel bait or “open ended” finale…yeah I’m gonna donate Remake and Rebirth to goodwill and only acknowledge Advent Children as the proper finale for the 7 crew.

I know I’m jumping the gun and making baseless assumptions…but Nomura will find a way to **** the bed. I just have a bad feeling about it.

Can't pin it all on Nomura, there's 3 directors on the project after all.

I can't even be too mad if the trilogy doesn't stick the landing. FFVII Remake was worth it all on its own IMO, and we'll always have the original anyway.

Nomura is the creative director. He’s the one making the high level decisions.

I wasn’t complaining though, I’m just intrigued. I am glad they’re adding/changing stuff, otherwise if you’d played the original there’d be nothing to surprise you or make you think.

Oh I wasn’t implying you made a complaint 😌

There’s nothing wrong with doing things to get conversations going or…as you suggested, giving long time fans a surprise-to expect the unexpected.
But there’s the danger of taking it too far just for the sake of it, yknow? Great artists know when to stop while they’re ahead.

I just desire a finale that won’t drop sequel baits or teasers or-what I consider to be the worst kind of ending-the left up our imagination ‘ending’.

Like…I played through 45 hrs just to decide the outcome for myself?

I loved OG FFVII…but I’d be lying if I said that ambiguous ending didn’t **** me off. Which is why I adored FFVIIAC. It was a proper epilogue.

I think I have a pretty good idea of where they’re going with it now, it’s interesting if that’s the route they really are taking with it.

All hinges on how they pull it off in part 3.
