well ，they gonna open preorder for something every year right？boss did said prototype for ac seph and aerith can be completed in this year. he working on aerith head，mention something that the hair blocked the articulation or movement of head. some method may solve it，maybe like solf rubber type hairtype with wire inside？therefore，basically a total new headsculpt compare to what we seen a year ago. and a more improved body type too.

definitely wont be release in this year. I only knew the preorder of ac seph and aerith is gt plan in 2024. guessing boss realize that too much cloud is not the way.

some update：

1. body set for first class cloud in making. around 1000set？straight away for ready stock i guess. will redo if all sold out or maybe not. torso area changed materials，from hard plastic to rubber type，for better neck articulation.（same for L and Kira since they using the same body type）

2. possibility of moveable eyes for ac seph.
remember this pic？gt recently said that this is the moveable eyes prototype for ac seph.but final decision depands on boss. if boss final thoughts is non- moveable eyes is still better，then they will make it to non- moveable eyes

Just got my Gametoys AC Cloud! courtesy of Giantoy and their waitlist and awesome service (when I emailed them about it - when it seemed too late - they told me to add my address to my account so that if they ended up with another one they could reserve it for me and send me an invoice, which is what happened.) I just opened him up and he looks perfect and amazing!

Couple of questions for those who have him: are everyone else's figures quite loose in the waist/torso joint? EDIT: actually I guess it's the back of the legs/top joint of those/ass lol. if I lean him forward a bit but then like tilt the figure backwards, he'll just flop back, and same the other way. Hopefully it won't be an issue for posing, probly not considering not gna go crazy with him

the hands just remove like any other figure right? I'm pulling pretty hard n feels like im stretching the arm/don't love how hard I'm squeezing it while trying to remove the hand. But I want him holding the sword asap! hah EDIT: got it, did just havta pull harder. Very bottom part of arm rubber was a lil sticky, I dno if that was contributing or just rly tight. Then of course the equal and opposite problem of getting another one ON, but think it's on right.. What would be the best way to heat them up if need be, has anyone done that? And would that be okay since it touches a bit of the silicone?

Lastly, best process for removing his.. let's call it sash? overdress. Quick look and I can't see the best way to lift it all off. This could be another new Rebirth minigame.

Which I'm loving for what it's worth; the minigames and the whole game. I think graphics mode literally gave me a day-long debilitating migraine on saturday lol, but so far so good in performance mode! Besides the blur haha. I get people's criticisms, but man what it does well it does so well, it's just the epitome of cool hah. And I love the combat. In Remake I hated it at first but it was because I really didn't get it, I was terrible at it and so I couldn't see what it was trying to do. It has to click. Once it did I loved it in that game and I love it here too. I basically never get tired of it. If you told past me that I'd EVER admit to this I'd say you were insane, but.. maybe this is in fact the great evolution of the turn-based/ATB system we need, and I'm perfectly happy with it being this.

Use hairdryer to heat the hands before removing. Avoid use on silicone. If the silicone gets sticky, use corn starche/baby powder to soften it up again

After witnessing Zack's story, I hope that GT creates a Rebirth Zack 2.0 with a new sculpt and body.

Really hoping for the same. Zack being my favorite character I was always sad about how the final product came out in terms of the eyes being so dull compared to their other figures. They did use the CC version and AC Sephiroth is barely a difference from the remake one so getting an updated Rebirth Zack with better paint would be great

Oh man, on FB some dude offered his AC Cloud (and bike I think) up for trade and he’s asking for HT DX 28 Vader from the show Kenobi.

My internal reaction was that of Kung POW’s “I IMPLORE YOU TO RECONSIDER!!” GIF.

Like…you’re not gonna have trouble getting that Vader in the next few months…but AC Cloud? thats pretty much a one and done.

That might be about it. You can get a vts cloud but the quality won't be the same. It depends on what you want out of it. You might be able to find a cloud head and then just buy the new body when that comes out

The remake figure I could not find any available but there is 1 listing for $1k cad so forget that
you can still get AC cloud + bike for $650 usd which is about the retail price if you don't mind paying that much

Sugotoys in Australia are sold out as everywhere, but they appear yet to get theirs in-stock and you could join the waitlist and hope (https://sugotoys.com.au/product/gametoys-studio-16-cloud-strife-fenrir-gk-statue/ Edit: for the figure alone, the ver with bike is just sold out) I guess the shipping to US isn't too insane because I believe people do it. There're no doubt other stores around the world still waiting on their shipments as well who might have cancellations or extras for some reason, the trouble is finding them (and trusting them, if they're not well-known). I was gonna say Waitlist it and email Giantoy cos that's what I did a cpl of weeks ago when it was otherwise too late and they evidently came across a couple more and I got one, but now the listing itself is totally gone... Still, you could email them and ask cos you never know.

Wish someone else would post cos this is a bad look now, three posts in a row lol, but I've been dying to say: the more I play of Rebirth, the more I just wanna beg GT to make Barret. Can we get some sorta PETITION up in here or smth lol. I'd pay a premium for him, I understand the challenges and logistics of him being maybe a less popular figure. Maybe. I wonder if a company like GT could do a run where some people commit upfront like custom artists require etc. Nobody else is going to do him justice. There aren't even statues of him ? that I can see. Seems crazy to me
