I'd like to support any company making FF figures in hopes of getting more, but this doesn't offer anything better than the GT release (which I already own). Rotating eyes is cool, but not at the expense of a weaker likeness.

This does make me more sad about SW Toys backing down from a full Cowgirl Tifa release though, if other companies are already back two months later with new FF7 figures.

I give it less than 6 months before we see those SW Tifas go back up with the whole kit and kaboodle. Looks like they had the head sculpts all done for each and bodies

First glance thought it was a 1/12 figure because of that chunky looking hair. Proportions are kinda funky but the price is pretty decent. Tempting just to have another Seph.... but I'll be patient for AC.

I really like the Chadley VR simulation hexagon bases that look modular.

This might be some of the best sculpted hair I've ever seen.

The detail on these is insane. Very impressive. There are high resolution images on Prime 1 Facebook page. Notice the clear stands for theor swords. Wonder if this will be in the final release. I guess the swords are too heavy to hold their own weight at the hilt

Square Enix and P1 have mentioned that the support stands are temporary and only for the exhibition because these are currently the only prototypes in existence so they are being extra careful (in case of earthquakes, etc.)

Supposedly, the supports won’t be needed for the final product.

Also, P1 announced that the preorder date will be revealed tomorrow.

Oh nice! Where did you find this information? I was on P1 Facebook page but they didn't mention any of this. I was curious when the pre order date would be

Prime 1 statues (and polystone in general) can start to lean over time. I would probably use some kind of support for long term display just to be safe. They're supposed to be reinforced by steel rods... but sometimes this happens

They answered on their P1 Collector's FB page:

Square also mentions the stands in their twitter post here: https://x.com/sqex_md_goods/status/1869566538199752776?t=NxscaJyUTINW36BKtp0biA

Yeah, I'm praying these don't lean over time. Sephiroth's wing, in particular, looks like it could cause some major problems depending on what material they use.

I mean they can say all they want but physics over time will have some of these things warp a bit, especially the swords. P1 often have swords and such slightly warp over time even with metal pegs since the surrounding parts are polystone. Even in proto shots you can see some of the switch outs are not straight.

How long have you had the statue for? Is temperature a factor in this too?
This was from a reddit post titled "Virgil started to lean after 6 months" with comments of similar cases. Google "prime 1 leaning"

while extreme climate may play a factor, polystone as a material tends to warp over time. Obviously the guy on Facebook wouldn't be able to admit this because the warranty period is 30 days and anything that happens after that is "natural wear and tear" so I would reinforce it myself if it looks sketchy
