The more I watch this thread the more I realize the market for 1/6 costumes lol

Honestly more companies should consider selling costumes for variations that wouldn’t be feasible for entire figure runs. Or even for figures they don’t think would be beneficial to make in the first place. Like, unsure if a 3rd Class/Roche would sell? Just sell the outfit. Don’t think it’s worth selling three different Aeriths? Sell the other dresses separate and people can swap the head onto other bodies.

GameToys has already addressed the issue that most those sets run into; often you need to be sewing the figures into their clothes in order for the pieces to look nice and tailored. It's why GT Tifa's outfit won't be designed to be removable, I'm sure they've recognized that the only way to make her suspenders sit like they do in the game is to make them permanently attached to the anchor points.

True! I guess in my head the costumes I was thinking (the soldier jumpsuit, the pink dresses for Aerith..) of were ones that wouldn’t be hard to dress, and then one would just leave the body dressed after that.

As a person who used to work for a company that made clothing sets, the market is incredibly small. Most people actually don't want to undress and re-dress their figures. Most people don't even 'futz' with them.

I did mean for people who would basically leave a second body dressed in the variation, but still! I can’t argue with someone who has actual experience lmao

To be honest, even when war story's tifa came with the extra costume of the purple dress, I ended up purchasing an extra head and body for those extra accessories instead.
It's really quite a hassle to change them out of their costumes after all the futzing, easier to just make a complete 2nd figure.

boss said gt silicon body arms are slimmer than usual mass market silicon body. to maximize the similarity of the character body scale. therefore some crack on tpe and silicon are maybe due to the metal frame. as in the picture，we could see the frame.
