Once I set up an account and ordered I received an order number and they have been very communicative with me through email. They also have an ebay store with like 98% positive reviews. I’m fairly confident in them, but we will see once Tifa releases. Like you said it’s just a $100 deposit so it’s not the end of the world if things don’t work out.
I decided to preorder Tifa from there as well. After watching some videos of GT's Cloud on youtube, I was blown away by the detail and decided if there was a chance, I didn't really want to miss out this time. So fingers crossed we don't get scammed. lol
I did notice they have/had 3 ebay stores:
https://www.ebay.com/str/93figure - 98.2%
https://www.ebay.com/str/93toys - 98.5%
https://www.ebay.com/str/93figuretoy - and 95%, but it seems that store shut down. Most likely due to the feedback?
Hopefully everyone else here PO's her from there as well, and we'll see if it'll ever go out of stock. lol😬

We have GT and others who will make Tifa, Toysera and superduck make Aerith, superduck make Yuffie, can we have others brand to make Cid, Vincent, and Cait Sith

To be fair, GT Cloud, Zack and Sephiroth are overscaled. Just put them next to any other figures and the height difference is quite apparent. Even their Death Note figures are too tall. You can't tell me Light is taller than Mandalorian when he is in fact about the same height (5'10 vs 5'11), yet Light is taller in figure form.

I think SE having a whack scaling definition is not something of a big concern, if they keep the rest of the line the same scaling. However as we have known from past experiences, they don't and that's the problem I have besides the ugly joints and mixed media materials that don't seem to gel.

Yeah my gametoys cloud is taller than my hot toys iron man, which is completely wrong

Now that the Cammy Starman has been released and is even better than the proto, I'm curious to see the final version of Tifa Starman :sneaky:

Yeah I have yet to meet anyone who hasn’t liked or loved the Starman figures so I’m kinda hyped for both versions to release unless they hold it back like GT. Star man seem to be on time for most things

I guess we'll know how serious SE is if starman holds back their tifa. When is it expected to come out?

I don't have GT Cloud or any GT figures yet. But from photos alone I can kinda see Zack and Cloud have really long legs, and I felt like they are too tall. Your reply just confirms my assumption.

Looong

They're in scale with each other which is all that matters to me. Not like they're intended to be displayed side by side with Iron Man figures.

True but many collectors just don't have enough display space to spread out their collection accordingly. So if you have your GameToys Final Fantasy figures on one shelf and on the shelf right next to it are figures like Iron Man for example and all of those seemingly tender looking FF characters tower over a supposedly massive Iron Man figure then it just isn't cool anymore... :tap
It's supposed to be 1/6 scale and not every figure is 12 inch...
:gah:

Height discussions kinda annoy me, but GT deserves the defense here, considering that:

A.) RDJ is short

and B.) Cloud isn't.

Remake Cloud is taller than nearly every male NPC across both games. It's just also the case that all the important male characters are also even taller than he is, so it feels like Cloud is way shorter than he actually is. And GT Cloud is about 11.5 inches tall anyway, which is the standard height for any "average height" Hot Toys male figure. Remember that 12inch is supposed to equal 6 feet, so him coming out a bit below lines up pretty well with the internal scaling of the game putting him at 5'9''. He is exactly as tall, shoulder to shoulder as the most recent HT Luke Skywalker, for example, when Mark Hamill is also listed as 5'9''. Personally, visually, the decision to scale Cloud taller than every other male in the game, combined with his super long legs, makes him read more towards the 6 foot scale, imho, and I'd actually argue it makes the GT Cloud feel underscaled, but that's just my own opinion, the numbers show GT were pretty bang on.

Meanwhile Sephiroth's in-game model is scaled to exactly 6'5.5'' (much taller than his "official wiki" height of 6.1"), and they intentionally cheat camera angles to make him appear even taller. The infamous shot of Cloud coming up to barely Sephiroth's nips would suggest a height closer to 6'8'', 6'9'', which is Darth Vader height. The GT Sephiroth figure pretty appropriately looms over any other figure on the shelf and I still think they could've gone even taller.
