Darth_Pain... it was your predator that i saw pictures of, that made me spend 2k! and well worth it! thanks bro!

Glad I could help.:)
If the rumor is true and they REALLY are limited to 500 you'll have to buy me a beer.:duff
j/k

Congrats turtle! I just recieved my Predator 1:1 bust today myself. I was contemplating whether to go for the Cinemaquette or Sideshow's bust. I mean that thing is a great size for a full body statue and I LOVE that base, but in the end I had to go with a life size head. The thing is crazy! Happy Predator Day to both of us! :rock

Congrats on the bust. Did you get the P1 or the AVPR one?

i dont know. my box has 313 of 500, and the two reps at cinemaquette said only 500 are getting made. thats all i know. i have not see a higher number than 500 yet.

So all our certificates are all screwed up then. I wonder if they'll do a reprint for us.

I know that talking trash on this piece never makes me popular with those who leave comments in its threads, but I keep seeing little details on this that just make it not worth the money you'd have to pay to get it. Now look at this photo of the mask. The lenses are wrong. They should be mirrored with a fine, black-lined grid pattern on them like the Sideshow pulled off to perfection, not thick, silver-painted lines with black squares. What's up with that?

This is a beautiful piece, but there are just so many incorrect details that it totally bugs me to look at it: the tiny little human spine on his left side; there's supposed to be a human being inside that Predator's body (guy in suit), so how can that spine be so damn skinny; and the mouth seems way too wide open making the crown of his head look too small, though I think it is otherwise well proportioned. I don't even like the pose (not that Sideshow's was better, but it was accurate to the one in Winston Studios lobby). He isn't static enough to look natural, or dramatic enough to look like an action snap shot. It feels like the protrait of a guy wearing the suit for a photo op.

I'm thinking you don't really like the Cinemaquette!!!!! The one you have in your room does look alot better though. You should post some pics of that one and start your own versus thread.

I thought about getting this but since I already had the SS Maquette with the helmeted head would just add the 1:1 Pred bust.

i do see what you mean. it does seem that SS head looks to be right on. but i just love that cinemaquette predator. he is by far my favorite.
