Hey Turtle:

I made the jump and bought the CM Predator after seeing this thread. Just bought him this morning, and it will hopefully soon join my CM Arnold, Alien, and Predator.

Turtle, noticed you had the SS 1:2.

1. Is the SS Endo 1:2 posable?

2. Do you have the CM Endo? If so, how does this compare in quality to the SS Endo? If you had to sell one, which one would you sell if you have them both?

3. If no CM Endo, does the 1:2 SS Endo compliment the CM statues, or is it simply to big?

I am asking this because I am debating which one to buy, the SS 1:2 or the CM 1:3.

Thanks!

Hi Batman29,

Congrats on the CM. I am sure you will enjoy it. It is truly an awesome piece.

As for the SS 1:2 Endo:

1) It is not posable. What you see is what you get, just like the CM Endo.

2) I have the CM Endo. Right now, it looks like this:

Still need to get it out of the box and put them side by side. The 1:2 is so big in person, it dwarfs the CM. The lighting on the 1:2 is also very cool. But the CM has a sense of elegance to it. so it is really hard to choose. If I really have to get rid of one, I would probably get rid of the 1:2 (since my 1:1 is on its way :D). And the fact that I just picked up a CM TX:banana.

3) The 1:2 is bigger than all the CM and would not compliment them too well. In fact, I am going to move it downstairs once the custom pedestal with acrylic cover arrives.

Even within the CM line, the 1/3 scale Pred and Alien seems to overpower the Endos in term of size. How well do you think they go together, since you have the Arnold, Alien, and Pred? Any pictures?

Good luck with your decision. Which ever one you choose, I am sure you will be happy with it. They are both very nice pieces.

Hi Turtle:

Thanks for the reply. I think I know which route I will go now.

Once I get a CM Endo, I think I will sell my SS 1:4 Endo (I really like the fact SS is posable)

I can understand that the Predator would be bigger, given that in real scale it is almost 8 ft, and the endo in real scale would be 6 plus footish.

I have my Alien in box, and Predator to arrive. When Predator gets here, I will probably put them together on display and can send pics then. This is of course I get a mint CM Pred.

I still cannot get over how lifelike the CM Arnold is. One of the best "people" likeness.

Thanks again, and congrats again on the TX. I think my Arnold, Endo, and TX will look great together.

Take care!

oh and congrat's Batman 29!!!!!!!!! you will be happy, the day he arrives!

congrats! ya this statue is amazing! it makes me almost always stop and look. everytime i go by it! nice job Turtle

Shawn-Ray: Yup you are right on both counts: I was happy the day it arrived and I set it up ...

... and now that I have had it for over a week, I still stop to take a look. CM sculpted a winner on this one!
