I'm so on the fence over this. Gonna make my decision by Friday -when my bonus kicks in.

Geil, I live in Canada as well and I was just wondering if you know how much EMS charges for brokerage fees. I'm okay with paying the GST, but I'm worried that the brokerage fees could be really high

Hey fellow Cannuck. Well first of we will have to pay the dreaded HST now :( as for brokerage this is the first time I have used EMS with them so the ruling is still out but I will post it when my bill comes. UPS charges me maybe $5 last time ($180 value) and FedEx charged me $10 for a $30 value shipment!! I was surprised as international Fedex shipping in canada always includes brokerage but apparently japan has international economy service :(

Will anyone who has the Falcon in hand post a pic compared to another object? I'm still on the fence and would like a reference in size. Thanks!

Nono strategy man. I cannot act all excited especially this box being so huge. Gotto pretend it's not important and I get to it when I get to it o/w I would be add fuel to the fire. Wife already agitated as it is with new infant and all and here I buy another huge as toy shipped from Japan and she paid $50 customs on it for me! Gotto play it cool. Btw pics to come when storm settles but HST on shipment valued at C$300 and $8 admin fee. No brokerage fee so far but that could still come in the mail like they did with my FedEx shipment :( hope not though as FedEx paid customs on my behalf and collected whereas here we paid I think the government directly thorough the postman?

Cool, cool man. Just excited to see some more pics. :duff

Guess I better set aside $50 for the government when this bad-boy shows up. :gah:

Here are a few pictures that I sneaked in but the box is put away again until lateron tonight hopefully having some time

AWESOME! Wow, that sure does come in a HUGE outer box considering how much thinner the white box is inside. Guess it's good that it's so protected though! :rock

so now seeing this package what yo uthink my wife thought I bought! lol I stil have to somehow manage to hint to her that that is just a huge box and the toy I bought is really "tiny" in comparisson :lol

Awesome score Geil! More pics please!

Also, how do you like it? Worth the small plunge?

More Pictures and for scale as requested

I don't have a permanant space for it and still have to make a case for it so it's going back into the box then so my apologies for not putting it together for a better illusion
BTW liking my new gear and finally starting to get a hang on it. That Panasonic DMC-LX5 has mad Macro abilities!

Awesome! Looking very good indeed. What are your thoughts comparing the fine molds to the MR falcon in terms of detail and paint app?

I love both equally :D but overall I am not very picky. If I were this forum made me haha.
As for the sale all sales have been removed on HLJ as they are preparring to lower their overall MSRPs and come up with fewer but better sales. So maybe it will even get better so keep an eye open and congrats to all who have made the leap and post pictures! BTW the kit is still on sale

And today was the day I was going to order it. Oh well. If it goes on sale again then I'll jump for sure.

i know its a little late, but i only managed to find time and space for this baby today.

Pictures for size comparison since Geil has the better camera by far :D
