Plans look really cool! Can't wait to see progress on that front.
Best of luck!

Acrylic is pretty strong. But depends how long 1 shelf is going to be. If its going to be long then you need thicker sheet otherwise it will bend from the center assuming there is no center support. But I feel to be on the safe side, 10-15mm thickness should be enough.

Thanks bud. I will do some checking into this here soon. I may have to do some kind of rod support, so there won't be any bending in the center due to the possible weight. :)

Thank you Drakul and I really appreciate it! :duff

Thanks buddy! :hi5:

The program I am using is Xara Designer Pro 7. Just a 2D vector drawing program that I have uesed for along time now. I think it is easy to use and to understand. The graph paper was a free download that is offered on the net and just uploaded it to the vector program.

Here's also a screen shot of the program itself.

Interesting, is the program also a free one?!

Unfortunately no it isn't a free program, but they do let you download a free trial. A newer version is out now. I believe the program ended up costing me around $299 usd at the time I purchased mine.

Sounds good bud. Looking forward to work in progress updates.

Thanks for the bump on the thread. :lol :lol :lol

I will try to get some pics up sometime this weekend. I didn't get that much done as I thought I would. Okay; I will cut to the chase, I was being a little lazy. :lol
