Yea, this would be a fairly bad joke, since there's nothing particularly funny about it. It's actually a good license - the Medicom has done well, and the look is very unique. I'd certainly pick one up!

Now, if they said they were just making his chair...

I would say this is real. Its not really funny as MC said. Its not something obvious like Sideshow's half Darth Maul or Stealth PZ. This is something people would and will buy. The only thing that could be a 'joke' is the line about more figures with chairs. But that is all I see that could be fake.
