Ok, but what if you trade in your PSP 3000 for a Go. How do you play your old games?? Or is it just a "sucks to be you" situation? I wouldn't mind trading in my PSP 2000 and getting one of these if there was a way to play the old games I have without having to buy them again on PSN.

Trading in your old PSP 3000 for a PSP Go, is definitely a "sucks to be you situation" :D, turning all of old your UMDs into expensive paper weights. Unless of course, Sony allows you to download your UMDs in digital format (somehow)... which I doubt, since that's like having two copies of each game.

well as of today we only have 4 black and 4 white in stock for tomororw morning. No preorders have been made on either of them either. I had though about getting one but figured it was pointless since my current one works just fine and has custom firmware as well....but if I did get it, i would just get a screen protector and carry it around in my pocket like my iphone.

Do you guys set up a display or demo unit? Have you tried using one?

I'm like most people who own a PSP, I'm interested in the PSP Go, but I don't see the point nor need to have one over the existing model.

no demo unit is up for this, same with DSi though. I havnt tried it myself yet, sometimes the vendors bring in a unit with them when they are there incase of questions and such, but meh. I hardly see the sony people.

It's a shame, I'm sure most of those PSP Go units you have in your store will just sit there. Sony has done a piss poor job advertising or building hype for it.

Well, I'm actually thinking about getting a PSP Go. It supports access to the PSN Store (which I use quite often), and it's compatible with the PS3's six-axis controller. Just being able to play Peace Walker on my TV, with the six-axis sounds awesome :horror.

I'll wait till next year to get one, though. Perhaps then, Sony will find a way around UMD transfer issue, and then I'll be able to play all of my current UMD games digitally (and finally get rid of my original PSP). Plus, $240 is a very steep price for the PSP Go, since the PS3 retails for only $60 more. Sony needs to issue a price drop on this thing.

Thank god I just unloaded my PSP. Figured the timing was right because I really haven't had the time to play it....
