what a great thread!! my first SS figure was graduation day buffy probably in late 2005. i remember i was just searching the web for a decent buffy figure. that was all i wanted cuz i was really into the show at the time. i happened to stumble onto the SS fig on ebay for probably $50 and i remember saying how crazy it was to buy an action figure for $50. but it really looked like SMG so i splurged. then i needed angel and spike and xander etc etc. now i collect several lines and have SS all over my house just because i went online to look for a cool buffy figure one afternoon.

And I thought I was crazy to spend 30$ on a movie-collectible.
From then on it just became worse and worse.

These days I'm very, very happy if I can buy something for only 30$ !

I bought a two 12 inch Jasons from Friday The 13th Part 3 from a store called Creature Features in Burbank that was going out of business and everything was 60% of, so I got both figs for $45, I still have one in the box and the other out on display.
