Overall footprint on this is pretty large due to the flag and base. The base is about a 9" diameter and 2" thick- statue isn't heavy but has a bit of heft to it- feels solid. No wires on the flag, the material is quite stiff and requires some bending trial and error to get it how you want it. I finally pulled the trigger earlier this month on F4F's Ryo Hazuki... although I really like it this statue is WAY more impressive. IMO the EX is the only way to go. The sword looks awesome, I think the hand on his hip was kind of lame. I now look forward to Beat!

its like a pirate spyglass, magnifies distant objects

It's essentially the design of an eyepatch except instead of covering blind eyes it allows magnification ;p

The first diorama was good but this is better. Just classic sonic characters alone.
