I don't think so, this is what was announced in October as part of the long list of DC movies. Unless I've missed something. What makes you think it's a different film?

Curious to see who they'll cast as Flash

I figure it would be the same one, just the timetable pushed up, unless something changed...

Still wished they would use Grant Gustin. He's doing great.

Ahh got ya. Yeah I think the thread was made when there were rumours of a flash movie, then it just continued as the official thread once it was officially announced. From what I can remember anyway.
Agreed, Grant Gustin is doing great on the show, but I appreciate them keeping the worlds separate. And there's always a chance for some kind of multiverse crossover shenanigans I suppose.

Yeah, that dude is definitely high. The Jay Garrick name drop made me smile, though, and, from the looks of the concept art, it seems like he'll be getting a shave and a haircut once the cameras start rolling.

Gran Gustin really does look like him except with brown hair, if anything he's a bit goofier than the comics counterpart.
