Decided to mess around and use my 8” Tactical Suit Batman by Beast Kingdom. Since I have the Hot Toys version, I didn’t mind using this for a custom.
I had already used a black wash months ago, so the weathering was already done.
I used repainted the eyes and belt in red. I also added two gun holsters (glued to side of legs) from a Marvel Select Cable. Used some spare rubber pieces to create holster straps (plan on using rubber bands but this will do for now). Repainted them in red.
Initially painted the red circle on the chest, but eventually used his die-cast batarang repainted in red, and glued it to the chest. I washed away the original red paint you’ll see in pics below.
I glued the shoulder pads — taken from a Marvel Select Agent Venom.
The gun is from the Arkham Knight Red Hood figure by DC Collectibles.
The sword is from the Arkham Knight Azrael figure by DC Collectibles.
I need to clean up some of the red paint apps, but I like how it turned out. I am planning a 1/4 Thomas Wayne custom using the NECA Arkham Origins Batman this Spring/Summer.
