Custom topics should go where they belong.

Personally I have no problem with it. It's better to enjoy these customs in the SW thread than sift through an ungodly amount of retarded Ledger Joker customs, resculpts, repaints, etc... just to get anywhere.

Maulfan: You need to start being a little more unbiased before deleting content from a post that's not only non-specific, but hardly insulting and entirely appropriate when in reply to a rude post.

Here, here 'Nam.:banana

Not for nothing, but the banner on my computer reads:

"Star Wars Anything and everything pertaining to Star Wars items - both from Sideshow and other manufacturers."

This includes customs, dioramas. 3 3/4 figures etc...I can appreciate the artistry in the Customs section, but as was mentioned, I have no interest in having to go through any number of threads with any number of licenses. I'd rather read about SW toothbrushes, than see a custom head of some obscure Tv character. You want to tidy it up a bit, we need to petition Darklord for some stickys. Failing that, as long as the title is good, everything has been easy to find with the 'Search' function.

Custom topics should go where they belong.

Customs discussion pops up in relative areas all over, Aliens, Indy, but, like Indy, perhaps we should consolidate into a more central location like Indy has one thread for all the Indy customs.

Also, I encourage customizers to speak with Darklord Dave about getting setup with a blog, it'd be a better way for showing off and organizing your work than threads here.

Did you even bother to read the post prior to yours? Until someone has the balls to go in and clean up the custom section, merging all the BS TDK Joker threads, BS Wishlist threads, etc., I'd stray from recommending blogs or starting threads there. Besides, there should be no issue with seeing custom Star Wars projects in the ^^^^ing Star Wars forum.

I'm not a fan of all Star Wars customs being regulated to a single thread. This board is a growing and mutating organism and if a new subforum is needed for Star Wars customs, then we'll create one.

Should it be a sub of Star Wars or of Customs is the only question.

IF you do it, I would say a sub-forum in the SW section.

I'd prefer it be kept in the SW section as well.

:lecture:lecture:lecture Moving it back to the customs forum doesn't solve the issue of all the crap that some poor freak has to sift through to find what they're looking for. And despite what people say, most often the search function is ineffective.

Plus Dave, the custom threads here, up until Anamanamin's post, are usually positive retreats for those of us who get tired of all the whiners with inferiority complexes ^^^^^ing about Stormtrooper teeth. FOR THAT REASON ALONE, it's worth letting them stay in the normal forum.

There's plenty of chat in all the other sections that cross over from product to media to customs. The big difference here would be how many customs threads there are in the SW section. Moving all of these to the general custom area would bury them. Adding a sub to the SW section seems like a great solution. As far as Maul's opinion on a three section format for SW this seems like a bit of overkill. If Aliens, Terminators and Predators don't get subsections I can't see creating another subsection for a few scant threads on Clone Wars, the six films and the future live action TV series at this point.

^^^^, an "All things TDK" sub forum is desperately needed in the DC forum. If that forum doesn't get one, why even consider it here. I don't even go in the DC forum anymore because it's a huge ^^^^ing mess of Joker/Batman/Bale/Ledger/HT TDK Wishlit/Batpod/Tumbler threads. :lol

And I'm all for naming this potential new sticky "Uncle Chewies Chop Shop: Post all SW related Custom figures and Dios here".

Darthgothikus made an honest attempt to try and self-solve the so-called issue. I think the title is clever and should stay.
