Force FX Lightsabers

Since my focus are OT Imperials I only got the 2 Force FX Vader sabers. They are really cool, and for now are displayed with the original horizontal stands, but I got 2 cool vertical stands which will be used when I move to the new house next year.

I really want the Vader one to go with my Luke.

I'm confused about the different versions though. What's the difference between yours, are they just revisions (3 batteries instead of 6 etc)?

And I can't find any reference online to an ESB Luke saber.

The should redo Mace's, they never really got it down IMO. (Never looked good lit up)

The ESB Luke was one of the first releases, it has the rivets in the grip and the different "calculator strip" (the circuit board not the bubble)

It actually is pretty rare now.

The blue looks best on the Anakin ROTS and i would assume the Obi ROTS saber, i would say don't bother tracking down a Anakin AOTC FX saber since it pretty much sucks and could be over priced.

Is Obi Wan's from EpIII the same design as the one in EpIV? I mean, he had the same saber, right?

I've had my Vader saber since 2005 and it still amazes me and some of my guests when they come over. I've been meaning to pick up the Obi Wan padawan for awhile now though.

I forgot all about this thread, I missed out on Padawan Obi-Wan and it's almost impossible to find one right now. Anybody wanna sell theirs?

I've never seen the TPM Obi in person but I've always wanted that one, I think it lends itself to this perfectly. Over on The RPF someone made Force FX lightsabers by backwards engineering them and created an Obi ANH and Luke ROTJ with accurate necks and removable blades. I always wondered by MR/Hasbro couldn't get that part down...

I picked up the Darth Maul from borders during a sale like 4 or 5 years ago, each one was $50. So I got the whole thing for $100. I really need to give it a better display, It doesn't display that good in the box in the closet behind all the storage stuff.

I thought they still were producing them. The Jedi Luke with removable blade comes out soon, doesn't it?

I picked up the Padawan Obi-Wan as soon as it came out, it is by far my favorite! It's awesome. And I didn't know the ESB Luke was considered rare....anyone want one?

What are you talking about?

Hasbro is still actively producing the FX line. In fact, they have recently re-tooled some of them to have removable blades for an additional display option.

i have the padawan obi-wan saber. frankly, the build quality is kinda lacking. it feels a lot less sturdy than previous efforts by hasbro. i have the anakin saber and it is pretty well-made.

the upside of the obi-wan saber is the hilt is much slimmer than all the other sabers. and thus much easier to wield.
