Someone doesn't understand the power of gif responses.
There is an inner circle so to speak of people who get away with things others might get infracted or banned for, thats pretty common knowledge...
Yeah, right.
I think it's a bit of paranoia to think there are people who can get away with things others can't.
This is an online forum, open to anyone to join, like any club or other organisation, and like those, there *are* rules to be observed. .
If any person breaks those rules, they will be subject to the penalties.
And i expect if even a moderator went bananas on here, they would be chastised(But in general, the lunatics are not given moderator positions, lol). But also, there will be *many* opinions and you won't always agree with them all.
In a situation where two parties disagree on the net, it's better just to ignore them. You'll keep your blood pressure low and generally be happier in the long run. There are people i know in my local town that i don't get along with and i generally steer clear of them too. With the ignore function here, i often wish that existed in real life...
I think if you are mostly courteous to everyone you will get along fine.
If your first thought when you see a post is to reply in a negative way, and you do that over and over, it *will* be noticed and then you'll be on everyone's radar.
The notion that there is some inner circle who can get away with murder is not all that believable to me.
But it must be said that if you're nice to people, and help them out, give good advice when you have it, and are generally a good person, that will also be noticed, and if you do have an outburst, it will be seen as a blip on the radar rather than an annoying, repeated habit.
I forgot Courtney Cox was in that.
