There is an inner circle so to speak of people who get away with things others might get infracted or banned for, thats pretty common knowledge...

:exactly:
I got attacked by two members on a thread for expressing my opinion. One of them basically told me to ****off so I made a reference to him being an idiot. A mod told me not to take it so personally 'he's just goofing around' and handed me an infraction.
Did the other two involved get one...no!
I then saw the two involved and the mod in another thread, obviously very well acquainted.

Just saw this and since I was involved with the matter that got Darkmatter banned ill add my 2 cents..

You were a douche and seemingly crazy.. the whole matter with Username was insane to say the least (im referring to the emails you or your father sent)... and on that note I'll add that im still confused because those emails stated you were disabled and implied that you may have been a kid? (teenager)

but since then I have seen you post about you yourself having kids and being older (30+ I think) So that confuses me a bit...

Anyways on another note, since your banning you have been a very nice guy and seem to add to conversations, I have even complimented your comments and been pretty open to you so sorry if you feel that people are still jumping on you, I make it a point not to as youre doing nothing wrong

In regards to etiquette on here I personally hate seeing new pointless threads started daily (mainly by people with 50- posts) so It gets irritating and hard to just skip it over.. I like to give out lashings so to speak as it seems to be the only deterrent.

that's where the information is wrong. i'm not a kid or a teen, i'm not disabled and my father died 2 years ago.

i too like conversing and appreciate the same courtesy that has been extended. ...and i had no idea you helped get me banned!!! :monkey4

:lol water under the bridge for me. :1-1:

its not usually the best thing to talk too much of your own personal lives on open forums like this, especially it being a toy/statue collecting forum, because your more often than not going to get ridiculed at some point. Even if you get helpful support, one bad apple can really spoil things. Negative comments tend to dig deeper than positive helpful comments.

There are a lot of immature people on here and their only purpose here is to ridicule and a lot of them tend to be some of the more active posters.

if you need personal help, trying becoming friends with people and talk 1 on 1. Putting stuff that is very personal in open forums, its just asking for trouble on here.

Well its not like I told pushed the ban button or anything but I was involved with the arguments :lol

So what was the deal with the emails then? I read them so can you clear up the confusion?

Agreed youre a decent member and i enjoy reading your posts, no hard feelings man :1-1:

immature people on a toy board... you dont say :nana:

I've never understood that either. There are certain people who love to show how much they hate a figure and want to make sure everyone knows it.You see it all the time in SW threads. I guess they think it's fun pissing in other peoples' cereal.

We see it in the Movies & TV Show forum A LOT too.

You really don't know that since infractions on members accounts are only visible to Administrators and Mods. :peace

If people can handle an off topic section with plenty of personal problem discussion threads on an mma forum, surely it can be done on a toy collecting board.

Oh! I only noticed today there was an infraction drop down on my profile.
I clicked on the other members profile and didn't see one so assumed he didn't have any.
Thanks for pointing that out Snoop :wink1:

Yep. I think there's a need by some to prove that your opinion is wrong. :lol

i don't think that's true at all..........and the research i've done on this subject is irrefutable......:pfft:

hi batty............:)

Wouldn't be the least bit surprised looking at the way some mods go about their "duties", I'm just lucky youre one of the good ones :hi5:

Thanks but keep it to yourself, I'm trying to become the Evil Mod of the board! :wink1: :lol

Go to SuperheroHype forums if you want evil mods.

I got banned for saying "Resident Evil Afterlife is going to suck, but still be pretty fun."

The mod put out a warning saying NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO BASH THIS FILM. PERIOD.

****ing wackos.

I've always looked at this topic in the sense I try to treat members here the same way I do people in my everyday life.
