Hey guys, I'm not familiar enough with setting up a league to take on that responsibility, but I had a lot of fun doing the Yahoo fantasy league we had going last year and was wondering if you'd all be back for it again this year and if someone could take the reins of setting up the league.

Looking forward to another great year of MLB action.

I prefer Rotoworld because you have to set rosters and think alittle more about it.

You need to set rosters on Yahoo as well (ie: who's playing where and who's on the bench), or are you talking about locking rosters in for a week?

I had fun too, but I think we might have to do weekly H2H instead of rotisserie this year as people seemed to lose interest in the roto. I love both methods, so either works for me.

I don't mind setting it up again this year, but if we want to change providers, we should discuss that here. I have experience with Yahoo and ESPN, if we go with a different provider, someone else may be better suited to be commish.

I've used Yahoo only for here and back in college, I'm open to something else, as long as it's either A) simple to use or B) people can help ya get the hang of it.

H2H might be more interesting, though maybe last year's problem was the draft and teams? It seemed like after the first few weeks the standings pretty much stayed the same, i know I missed the draft but I did predraft some picks but maybe some people got stuck with players or something.

Either way, I really enjoy MLB and it's fun to share it with the Freaks so one way or another, let's do it again.

Sometimes you have to lock in roster for the DAY! You get a season game schedule and you have to play person against person. You have to be aware of what teams are playing on which days. If you play a player that day that doesn't play, you lose that position.

It's more complicated, but alot more fun. IMO

So with baseball season upon us pretty much, are people interested in doing a Freaks fantasy league or no?

I'd be up for it on Yahoo. Either H2H or roto is fine with me... I'll suck in either one. :)

Yahoo is my fave. H2H or Roto doesn't matter to me.

Just as long as pitching is drafted by player and not staff... :monkey4

C'mon, if you like baseball, give fantasy a try! It will help you appreciate the game more! If you don't know it, we'll walk you through it.

I'm in if you guys I'll have me. Only thing is I've never done any fantasy sports in my life so I have no idea how to set up and play but I'm willing to learn. I love MLB so this sound like a cool thing to try.

Yahoo's setup is very user friendly I think. If we get enough and do it you shouldn't have any trouble using it. The biggest step is drafting your team, once you get the people you want and a team you're happy with, the weekly stuff after is pretty easy.
