Really? Wow! I might have to pick up one and weather it. Yours looks wonderful!

Grab a 20% off coupon online, generally the store locator page has it on their mobile site all else, makes it come to about 61 bucks after tax. Alice frame is another $40 or so from Amazon, so $100 total gets you a damn nice proton pack. Maybe add 3 bucks to buy a brush and a tube of silver acrylic paint. I just kinda smeared paint around using a paper towel myself. Smeared it around everywhere, and tried adding more to edges where the wear would be more.

Well, about two weeks until TeslaCon.. my first time in over 3 years. Last 3 years of it I had to cancel because of medical reasons. Three years ago was cancer/treatment, then in the hospital, then in the hospital again. This year I *am* going. Wisconsin, here I come!

It's a steampunk convention in Madison, WI. Isn't really related to Tesla.... just a name for it I suppose. I think it's one of the two biggest Steampunk conventions left in North America.

OK. It’s time for me to hold a contest. This year I’m planning three; one with a Comics based prize, one with an Action Figure based prize, and one with an Animation based prize.
This contest will be for the “Comics” prize pack shown below:

Actually, that picture shows the back of all the prizes included. I figure I’ll keep the contents of the prize pack sorta secret until the winner receives it. I think there are 17 different items included in this prize, ranging between graphic novels, stand-alone comics, and other items. They vary in age between more recent and comics that have $0.15 and$0.25 cover prices (so kinda old).

The contest is simple. Correctly identify the character shown in my super close up photo below.

Each Freak is allowed two guesses, posted here. I’ll take all who submit a correct answer and submit your names to the Spinny Wheel of Choice, and whoever the Wheel chooses gets the prize pack.

This is open to all Freaks from the US and Canada. I’m sorry to my overseas Freaks but the graphic novels make this one pretty heavy and I’m afraid it’ll be too expensive to ship.
