Man, I miss when Chicky used to visit the Spook threads. Her Freaks contests had some of the best prizes. Hopefully she pops in some this year, although last year she had a bunch of people whining and begging and probably turned her off from visiting.

With Social Media, there never is. Don't expect to win any contests. The odds are it won't happen. I'm not saying don't try. Just saying don't get your hopes up. WAY too many people entering... Granted, perhaps there are less tonight, but each day will have more and more...

Doing Contests on Twitter has a greater chance of wins though. They only have a 1000 or something followers. Unlike facebook, they have 100,000 followers.

Yeah, they don't come here much anymore. Alex visits the Statue Forum a lot but not much for here.

My wife wanted to pick one of the numbers instead so I dropped the 7 The numbers are 3, 4, and 1. Mixed and matched that gives me 134. Kamikaze has exactly that number of posts in this thread so he wins his choice of Funko figure!

Oh, and I think this is how they are going to do the majority of the rewards.... in contests for who gets the quickest emails. Gone are the days of posting a code for everybody to use. Probably got way to expensive for them last year.

she hasn't done that in several years. We might see Alex do a contest on the board, but I am skeptical that Chicky will... Twitter and Facebook keeps her pretty occupied.

Very true. However, all they needed to do was limit the time more, or limit the number. Like, 15 minutes for a code, or the first 50 people to enter a code...

In the email it says there will be hidden promo words for free reward points just like last year. Hopefully it's just as many as last year.

I racked up ton of codes last year!

So did everyone else. Which is why it will be much harder and less frequent this year.

Good to know. I pretty much went crazy this year with AMC FearFest and recorded most everything I could fit onto my DVR. Starting w/movies I've never seen.
