It's well deserved as those were really funny and took time! What options did you throw out? I believe they actually have a list of certain things that they're able to give out for certain events...but this was out of the blue. That's still fantastic! I mean, really, everything is pretty awesome that's made...and when that item is free? Well, can't beat that!

Now that holidays are good, did everyone receive their SS gifts? I was a bit curious as to who got who?

I was losing hope but Chicky emailed me today about sending me something for the Evil Superman pics! I asked for a Hellboy PF but they're not in stock now--supposed to ship in April so that's a no-go. I sent her a couple other options but, in the end, basically told her that I'd be happy with whatever she chooses. I'm just excited that I'm possibly going to get something for free from SS!

It's taken a while, but everything from spook is now here. I got my poster from Dusty ( a big thank you to her, not just for her generosity, but for coming to visit with us at spook) just after christmas, and my 501 st trooper that I won through susan's fb site came in this Wednesday, 14th Jan! thanks again to Utoyfan and vander for all their awesomeness again this year! thought I'd post a pic of everything together, but my ipad is not quite connecting well enough, arg. I'll try and get a pic up during the week if i can.

Hope everyones having a great start to the New Year, I've spent the past two weeks fighting with my wifi, but hopefully, I can be back online again.I'll have to change my sig now, because with the trooper showing up, spook is officially over for me now!

I got my prize from Chicky for my Evil Superman pics I posted over the holidays! No Hellboy PF but she did send me a Gwen Stacy statue. I have Mary Jane already so I guess this means I have to buy the Black Cat statue so I'll have all the ladies. Well played, Sideshow.

That's awesome man, congrats!! Speedy shipping too! It looks like a beautiful statue, and it's one I'd be happy to own if I had the spare cash. As a prize? Well hell, that's pretty fantastic! Even better that it combos with your MJ! I'm sure they'll nail Black Cat too, so that's a win win.

Thanks! It worked out pretty well because it's a statue I'd like to have but didn't want to spend the money on. I was going to wait to see if I could find a deal on one and now I don't have to.

The poster is a collection of steampunk interpretations of Disney princesses. I was lucky enough to win it from Dusty's personal collection, so I have no idea where you would find it. If I'm lucky, my wife won't claim it and I may be able to keep it for myself, but she's a big Disney fan. Hey guys, it's been a while since I visited the thread. A little news.... after 2 months of art tests and interviews, I finally got a new job. At Glu mobile. I'd also like to drop off a little art piece I've been working on. I'm starting on next years avatars sometime soon (that is if people are still interested), and I'm actually doing it in such a way as to benefit my Day Scare idea. I can use your help in this as well actually. I want to start designing characters for the Day Scare, and I need ideas for obsure horror icons to do as toddlers. I don't really want to do a version of Bela Lugosi's dracula, or Freddy or Jason. I'm more interested in things like Ro-Mon from Robot Monster or The Thing from Thing from another world. Characters that the general populace may not know about, but horror geeks like us would totally recognize. Thanks for the help guys (and gals), counting the days till next spook.

Congratulations! The Blob or the Fly might be cute but easily recognizable. The Crawling Eye from The Trollenberg Terror is probably a bit obscure.
