Re: Freaktacular 2015

Josh, you can edit and remove 12 Angry Men, if you want... I'll allow it... Plays would be WAAAAAAAAAAAY too hard to guess. Here are some of the plays I was in:
The Pink Panther Strikes Again
Dark of the Moon
The Good Woman of Szechuan
Mother Courage
Fame
Arsenic and Old Lace
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
A Christmas Carol
Caesar and Cleopatra
Lettice & Lovage
The Visit

But I've been in more musicals than plays.
Wow, good resume you got there Kenbenobi.
I would enjoy watching Fame and A Christmas Carol.

Re: Freaktacular 2015

I did not have the answer from last year. I worked it out. When I'm not in a hurry, I can do math correctly! :lol

:lol I spent an embarrassingly long amount of time going over that question time and time again. Math is my enemy! :lol

But I do want to thank Darth again for throwing the contest! Very fun and inventive, and I swear, I was watching the clock at work going, "10pm EST is when **** hits the fan here!" :lol It got pretty intense! I was hoping that your final question wasn't going to be a riddle or anything crazy. :lol It actually ended up being a highlight of a pretty brutal night at work, where I was kinda left on my own to get things to air, and ended up having to do two hours overtime because of it. Exhausting! So thanks for the bright spot there! :)

Yeah Ken, I work in TV news. It's not something I actually ever thought I'd end up doing when I went back to school a few years ago, but that's how things landed, and I'm grateful for it! I freelanced out of school and was just hired on full time this past summer! So it's been a rollercoaster, and now I'm working more than ever! :lol That's a good thing that I'll always be happy for, but I won't deny it can be painful and exhausting at the same time! That said, I enjoy it a helluva lot more than what I was doing before I went back to school!

On my contest front, I may have to go through all the entries tomorrow! I'll see what I can do tonight, but I think I need to go eat dinner first! :lol I'm glad that people participated though! It'll be fun seeing what you guys came out with! I do like how almost everyone just slapped Star Wars at #1 once I mentioned how they all count as one to me...though that's a pretty safe guess regardless! :lol

Re: Freaktacular 2015

LOL! Honestly, I think everyone would have Star Wars on their lists anyway. But yeah, that was a big "hint" you gave there. :lol

CONTEST #2 TIME!!!
I am an avid theatrical actor. I've been in many plays and musicals over the years, many of them very famous and popular. Try to guess one of the musicals I was in. Don't guess plays, since that would be much harder. You should make TWO guesses in ONE post. If anybody guesses two correct, which is unlikely, you instantly win and the contest is over. Otherwise, there will be a wheel spin from those who guessed one correctly. I don't suspect there will be many correct entries, but there should be at least a few... Here's a hint. Some shows were children's shows, some were not. You can guess two children's shows if you want, or two adult shows, or one of each.

Everybody gets ONE guess. Please POST your guess here by 10pm CST tomorrow (Tuesday 10/25). Do not PM me, cuz my mailbox can't handle it.

Winner gets their choice of ONE of the following 3 Blu-rays (Friday the 13th Part 1 is GONE), shipped 1st class on Monday, so you should be able to watch it before Halloween, unless you are overseas. If you are outside of the US, I will cover only $3 toward shipping. You must pay the rest. Prizes must be claimed within 24 hours of my prize notification PM by sending me their shipping address and prize choice.

Here are the prize choices (the 3 titles are NEW/SEALED--note part 3 is the old-style 3D with paper glasses (INCLUDED), not blu-ray 3D)

That's cool. I went to school for Broadcast Television. I was an anchor and Executive Producer of one of our news shows in college, but news is not something I ever wanted to work in. I was just trying it out. I interned at the local ABC affiliate on a talk show called Milwaukee's Talking. The host was Shaun Robinson, who went on to Access Hollywood for years. But you won't find that show listed in her IMDB credits :lol
After graduation I went to work for the Fox affiliate, working on the news. I started with the morning news, which ran from 4:30am to 9am straight. It was KILLER! Then we had a big break before the Noon news, and then our shift ended... I worked the nightly news show as well (from 9-10:30) but I preferred mornings, even with the crazy hours... After I quit a few years later, I couldn't watch the news anymore. I got sick of news for at least a year...

Wow, good resume you got there Kenbenobi.

Thanks. I'm actually in A Christmas Carol NOW for the 2nd time! So come on down to Milwaukee in December to see me! :p

The Music Man
Grease
Why is everybody guessing The Music Man??? And how the hell did you guess BOTH of these??? Pretty sure I never mentioned them to you, and there's no way Grease is on my Facebook account. My sister might have The Music Man pics in her account, so perhaps that is why...
Anyway, CONTEST IS OVER! Steve is a Punk and got 2 correct answers. :banana :fireworks
It's done. LMK which prize you want...
