Here's my entry to Golden Boy's carving contest. Not much but I tried. Carved each one for my wife, daughter and I. I like my traditional triangle jack-o-lantern. Made a cat for my daughter and a Minion for my wife.

Well I might not have captured any big Spooktacular deals, but my kids sure made out like bandits with their haul tonight!
Sometimes there sure are benefits to having 4. Now all I have to do is get them to bed...

They managed to get 8 full size bars, and most of the rest is good stuff. My training has paid off.
And they really did work for it. According to my fitbit, we put in just over 3.5 miles while we were out!

That's awesome!! Nothing felt better than being exhausted as a kid, but flipping over those heavy bags and seeing such a huge haul you could pick away at for however long! Way back before we could just go buy candy whenever because we were old enough.

Wish I had more time to actually participate properly with your contest CallMeTheDoctor/mrdbios! I'll go all 4th wall with my entry and say that the scenes/moments that scared me most were the ones I created AFTER seeing the scary movies when laying in bed in the dark. Nothing was scarier than the blurs and movements that caught my eyes and imagination while laying in bed in the dark growing up.
Hell, I won't even lie, if I watch a scary movie late enough these days, and I put myself in the engrossed mindset I like to be in, then once they're done and I turn everything off to go to sleep, I MAY accidentally make too much noise going into the bedroom so that my wife accidentally wakes up. Oops! That said, she usually doesn't stay awake for very long, but the dark...the dark remains. 
I call my entry...The Dark. Imagine me saying that with a French artistic accent or something, before making the reveal.

Confession time:
I have never seen Army of Darkness. Don't know how it slipped through all these years, but it just did. So I just got the kids to bed, lifted a few snickers, and picked it up on Amazon. Time to watch a movie!

That's not a bad one to have not seen. I mean, there are big movies, and that's high up there with cult followings and all, but I think you're okay to have not seen it yet! It's been quite a number of years since I've seen it! I know it's a lot more comedic than it is scary or spooky, but still quite enjoyable! I'll have to revisit it at some point!
